Presided over a transitional meeting involving our immediate former and current County Executive Committee Members.
I thanked our former C.E.Cs for the dedicated service they offered to residents of Kericho County during the past tenure.
Government being a continous entity I undertook on behalf of the current County Executive to continue with the work initiated by the outgoing team.
We will tap on the experiences of the outgoing C.E.Cs as we build capacity amongst the new team.

The progress of addressing the plight of our young daughter Diana Chepkemoi who is stranded in the U.A.E is reassuring.

It is a wake up call to Government and our missions abroad to put in place structures of tracking the progress of all labourers seeking livelihood abroad.
Data compilation of all our people and a thorough vetting of all entities offering agency services shall hopefully be the first order of business for the Hustler Government.

The gruesome treatment of Diana reminscences the pre-colonial slave trade and that is enough reason for our Foreign office to re-consider relations with the concerned country.

Joined mourners in Kipchimchim for the final send off of Hon.Samuel Ngetich (Chepsetyon).
We Eulogize Mzee Chepsetyon as an icon who touched the lives of many across the spectrum.

In honour of the work and impact Hon.Chepsetyon had in our midst, I have committed to name a street in his name.
I also delivered a message of condolences from His Excellency The President Elect William Samoei Ruto who hailed our fallen hero as a principled and hardworking man who positively impacted on the economy of multiple counties that hosted his businesses.

We will continue praying for the family during this trying moment.

Graced this year's event organized by Finlays Community Trust to award scholarships to bright students drawn from Bomet and Kericho Counties.

We are grateful for the charitable gesture by the multinational over the years.
I have placed a request to have the number of beneficiaries increased so that there is a significant number of lives touched.

The County Government of Kericho shall be rolling out starting next week scolarship programme targeting 3000 persons.
I used the forum to notify the multinationals of my stand that there is need to rid their plantations of machines.
All options are on the table to ensure that goal is achieved.

University dons paid a courtesy call to my office this morning.

The County Government of Kericho through its facilities shall be a dependable partner in areas of research and innovation.

Our offices and facilities shall open more doors for students on attachment and towards that end I have directed relevant departments to put in place logistics aimed at accomodating the increased intake.

The University have equally offered to increase our capacity through trainings consultancy services and increased presence in our areas of research especially the Agriculture fields.

We will soon ink a work plan with the institutions to formalize all the desired arrangements.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is my great pleasure to stand before you today for my first official address, having been blessed to serve as the Governor of Kericho County. I feel privileged that you found time to join us today, and I thank you for your presence.
Three years ago, I took a personal initiative to compare the level of County Government services within and beyond Kericho County, vis-à-vis the resources at their disposal. My research was informed partly by my curiosity as a then practicing University Don, but majorly by my first hand unpleasant experience as a perennial consumer of public services. The outcome of my research became the foundational basis of my bid and that is what has pushed me to be what I have been officially mandated to do today.

The need to be part of the solution to these issues, made me to hand in a resignation letter at the University of Embu and venture into the unpredictable world of politics. Subsequently, God was merciful, and the people of Kericho became gracious that they granted me an opportunity to implement what I had theoretically put forth as solutions to our existing challenges.

Allow me then ladies and gentlemen at this stage to give a message of Thank you to the people of Kericho for the overwhelming mandate they granted me on 9th August 2022 to lead them over the next 5 years, starting today. 316, 778 votes which translates to an estimated 95 Percent of votes, that I cannot take this fro granted is such a magnanimous endorsement, that I had to go
