On Tuesday, the Presidential Taskforce on the Review of the Legal and Regulatory Framework Governing Religious Organisations in Kenya presented the Religious Organisations Bill, 2024 to President William Ruto. The proposed law mandates that all religious institutions submit annual financial returns and maintain a register of members.
