Thirteen suspects from Uganda, accused of abducting and eating children in the Karas area of West Pokot County, have been arraigned in Kitale court. The court ordered that six of them undergo age assessment while the remaining seven be held at Kitale Police Station to give police time to pursue the suspects who escaped and complete investigations. For the past three days, demonstrations have rocked Kapenguria town as residents demand the arrest of all suspects. The youngest among them is a 10-year-old boy.
