From a refugee camp in Kakuma, Kenya, to the global fashion stage—Adut Akech's journey is a story of resilience and success. Born in South Sudan and raised in Kenya, she moved to Australia at 7, where she faced challenges along the way, including cultural shock. Today, she’s a supermodel and an inspiration, showing the world that no matter where you come from, you can achieve greatness by staying true to yourself.

In the book, The Destruction of Black Civilization, Chancellor Williams elaborates that European Imperialism in Africa did check and replace Arab Imperialism.

He further writes that the intense barking at European Imperialism by the Arab world are the barks of outrage for checking and subduing Arab dominance over their once conquered Black Africa.

He writes, “ There are still countless thousands of Blacks who are naive enough to believe that the Arab’s bitter attack on Western colonialism shows their common cause with Back Africa.”

Historical records cite that Arabs imperialism was intense and that European imperialism has not even matched half of what it was.

Nonetheless, today the Arabs and Africans find themselves in the same situation.

Disunited, disorganized, impoverished, and defeated in perhaps all areas.

Leadership! We are lacking in leadership. We are a defeated race. Aren’t we?

From where I sit, only Col. Muammar Al Ghadhafi ever questioned.

Day 4 of 4 at the
Commissioner David A. Wright from the U.S Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) emphasizes on the importance of strong independent regulatory body to oversee safe nuclear programs and applications.
As Africa’s ambitions for nuclear power program increases, nuclear safety is a key issue that must take center stage of all conservations.
Strong and independent regulators are vital for ensuring a Safety Culture in the Nuclear Power program and technology.

Day 3 of 4 at the U.S.- Africa Nuclear Energy Summit 2024
Dr. Humphrey Ayim-Darke, the president of Association of Ghana Industries highlights various factors behind limited intervention by Ghana’s manufacturing sectors into the nuclear energy program and technology in Ghana and Africa at large.
He outlines inadequate leadership in Africa to spearhead the Nuclear Energy program, the existing geopolitical atmospheres in and across the globe, and political instability in some African states as some of the most prevalent setbacks to Africa’s Nuclear energy and industrial ambitions.
Agreeably, Africa’s biggest shortcoming in almost every field is the inadequacy of leadership.
I believe that once Africa’s leadership is brought to order the continent can solve half or all of its problems.
The is an educative summit as it provides the platform for the current and future African leadership to prepare on various aspects relating to Nuclear power and energy.
Quiz: Do you have confidence in the current African Union leadership to independently oversee safe Nuclear Power Program and technology in Africa?

Attending the U.S.- Africa Nuclear Energy Summit 2024 Themed Industry Readiness.
✍🏽”Nuclear energy has a significant impact on Africa but Africa has an even greater significance to Nuclear energy.”
Currently, South Africa and Egypt are leading the way towards Nuclear energy technology in the continent. Africa has a great potential in this field. Yes! Kenya under the Nuclear Power and Energy Agency are on road to realize the 2034 timeline of our own nuclear energy program. Coupled with Africa’s great renewable energy potential, additional nuclear energy will provide more cleaner energy for rural electrification thereby spanning even greater socioeconomic development. Africa can make a quick transition to clean energy while spearheading continent-wide industrialization.
However, Industry readiness is critical. While nuclear safety tops the list of stakeholders concerns, industry readiness is expansive and requires collaborations.
provides the platform for stakeholders across the continent to convene and deliberate on Africa’s Nuclear Energy future.

Queen Hatshepsut of Egypt... 💯 African

● Hatshepsut is one of the few women who ruled ancient Egypt as pharaoh. She ascended to power around 1479 BCE, initially as regent for her stepson, Thutmose III, but later declared herself pharaoh, often depicted in male attire with the traditional false beard of pharaohs.

● Hatshepsut ruled for approximately 22 years, making her reign the longest of any female pharaoh. Her reign was marked by peace, economic prosperity, and extensive building projects.

● Hatshepsut is known for her ambitious building projects, most famously her mortuary temple at Deir el-Bahri, which is considered one of the architectural wonders of ancient Egypt. The temple features terraces, colonnades, and reliefs that tell the story of her divine birth and reign.

● She organized a significant trading expedition to the Land of Punt, which brought back valuable goods like gold, incense, ebony, and exotic animals. The success of this expedition is depicted in the reliefs of her mortuary temple, showcasing her achievements in international trade.

● After her death, Hatshepsut's successor, Thutmose III, and later pharaohs attempted to erase her legacy by defacing her monuments and removing her name from records. Despite these efforts, modern archaeology has restored her place in history as one of Egypt's most successful and influential rulers.

The street is now named after the Maji Maji Rebellion, which symbolizes Tanzania’s resistance struggle, and Anna Mungunda, a Namibian hero of the anti-apartheid movement.

Throughout history, when the Jewish were persecuted by Arabs and Europeans, Africa was their biggest hope. In many occasions, our Kings and armies marched to those lands to go and save them. The Jews and Africans have a very old and strong history. To add on, the Jewish were black people themselves and today some African tribes as far as East Africa are connected to them. Israeli scholars and state today agree with this fact.

Day 2 of 5
At the Kenya National Research Festival 2024.
The Impact of Research on . Through research works, all stakeholders can have a chance to turn their concerns into action steps to ensure sustainable development.
At the The Afrikan Shujaa Magazine - History, Culture, and News, we are working with various writers to realize i.e. to promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.
We aim to establish better race relationships across the world through writing and research to increase awareness on Africa’s History, Culture, and News from an Afrocentric perspective. We also acknowledge and respect diversities in every edition of our magazine. Awareness of African History and Culture is beneficial for letting us know whence we came as a people, what actions are needed, and more than most how to peacefully relate with one another in our multicultural world.
