'Long Isn't Forever'

I have known you --
Like the shooting star knows its paths,
Like the flower knows when to bloom,
Like the firefly knows when to blink,
Like the spring knows its source!
I have known you --
Long!

I have known you --
Long enough to pick the strands of your hair,
From a barbers heap!
Long enough to hear your voice,
From a cacophony of wails!
Long enough to pick you when blindfolded,
From amidst maidens!
I have known you --
Long enough!

I have known you --
The scent of your breath,
The pulse of your heart,
The prick of your ni***es,
The supple of your skin,
The taste of your lips,
The contours of your hips,
I have known you --

Alas!
My love,
I have known you long,
But long isn't forever!

A smile and a frown,
Are both crescent curves.
Same tears shed from an eye,
Could be of joy or sorrow.

Tell me the secret of forever--

Take me to the garden of flowers,
Whose fragrances are fair forever.
Find me a road through this labyrinths,
Whose destiny is forever.
Trap me in a chaste chalice,
That remains pristine forever.
Drain down my doubts,
That this love is forever!

For, long isn't forever,
And...
Forever isn't long enough!

Lately i have been thinking alot about marriage families and children. Imagine reaching a stage of life where you have to live with a fellow adult raised with deferent values and attributes from yours and then you blend into one person. The children you raised now become raised in blended version of the duo. They thus they become a control experiment to a certain wether the mix was homogeneous.
How do you choose, what shows the two can mix. Is it a mere sexualy attraction is it characters is it ambition and what do when you find the partner you made a step with is just not compatible... Lets keep talking join the page share for more

Have always wondered why Indian families thrive in business world,
Especially in kenya
Recently i was having a pep talk with my freind rajesh kuhmar in his thoughts i deduced a few points I'd love to talk about
In indian society parents train their children im their areas of work for example a doctor parent would train his children in areas of medical profession, the progeny would thus grow in medical thereby even being better than the parent in the sector
Parents who also get their livelihood from bussines would work hand in hand with their children to ensure they learn with due focus the at of trade
Artisans and mechanics would thus follow suit et ecetra
Looking at our society today, i feel that we aren't doing enough to pass the skills we have to our children
How prudent will it be if a son of a carpenter could master the art of carpentry from his parents
How about lawyers, how about doctors
Our society could thrive easily with more and more experience coming into all this field
But we have left all this to schools, teachers and lectures who know all in theory but less in practical

Thats why we have engineers who can do all and sundry on paper but in practical less is seen
