Too much of new DJs has no bad influence really.
But all of us sounding, doing same strategies and going(chasing) for one target is what makes this skill/gift invaluable and nolonger entertaining anymore.
Lately 3 or 4 DJs might play right after then but it sounds like one DJ have been playing(on decks). We all wanna hear from each other what's the new isht and we also wanna play it too.
You release a mixtape all they concerned of is a tracklist. Download 7 or 8 different mixtapes all of them have 3 or 4 same tracks that are being used.
If no one thumps up that label or producer we also see or don't wanna hear any good from it, we want to be given a lead of what's dope & what's not... that is resulting in all of us playing one sound and sounding the same.
It has never been sin to be different... instead that's what sells and distinguishes you from the rest and the average.
