Societal Labelling and conditioning
Growing up. You come to learn how society chooses to creating "SOCIETAL LABELLING"(Name tagging) it grows to being "SOCIETAL CONDITIONING" and this is how government and politics chooses to govern people from the basic unit in the society i.e family.
Various individuals and especially the youth have fallen into this trap. Cutting across every households in your villages you will hear a person is judged by their habits not even a chronic one as such. Everyone is traveling a journey nobody knows. It might be time bound and habits that can be avoided within a certain timely spectrum. The society will shout that she is a jealous one, she is verbal with verbal verbacosities, the place they come they are known since history, ako Na Maringo,He is so Christian, His family is not good to marry,She is a bad girl/boy, that's a bad company,He loves to sip snake's tears, his uncle is bad et al...It flows down and down the line.
These are the things you can never avoid. I always tell my friends to grow thick skin in whatever dispensation that these labelling find them. These labels have taken innocent people to the dogs.It might crop out be in early adulthood or mid 40s.
The best thing is to know your inner self and live by it. That's enough! People should never allow names given to them determine who they really are. If you dive and accept societie's thinking without being concious enough then you are mostly likely going to be dead on arrival,a subject on the losing edge.Dangling on a cliff!
Of course we can't live in a boring society.Play a fool to catch a fool.
