Many of us go into fasting with less prayers… and with a rigid mind. “God this is what I want and in this way…!”
We persist and like Baalam, Yahweh steps aside and seconds our motion. Before we realise it was a mistake, its too late and the Israelites are already attacking the Baalak territory and we lose ourselves in the fracas.
Let us learn to give God a chance in our prayers and be flexible in life. Life is not always what your imagination is. Mlima Halua penye bonge la sukari does NOT exist but Heavenly subsistence is real. May we not lose every good God gave us, to imaginary things we talk about with friends and relatives
