The English rank or rate quality in categories, Mrs Mwangi my std iv English teacher( God rest her soul in eternal peace)taught me in my grammar lesson that in the English language, the rankings of quality is the words, Good, better and best.
I don't know how to apply this in the Nyeri county gurbanatorial competition, but based on the let the best man win notion, I have a rough idea.
Do we have a number two in politics? the answer is no, only on paper.
The four candidates pictured below are good guys have advantages and a measure of leadership skills but the English says the quality factor of category is at play here like everywhere else.
The best man for the Nyeri county top executive is Engineer Ephraim Mwangi Maina or Kirinyaga.
I may be biased by this or that factor, but then that's why we have competition and democracy at play.
Previous track records and a persons potential, plus integrity, intelligence, experience and honesty are important qualities that needs to be considered before making critical decisions.
We all would like a leader we can depend on when in need, a leader who is tested and experienced.
All those qualities fit Engineer Mwangi Maina like a hand glove.
Let the best man win, VOTE ENGINEER MAINA AS THE NYERI COUNTY GOVERNOR....and you will have put a plus in the leadership and the county in general.

Nyeri county residents cannot gamble with their lives and property,
We need a leader who works and lives honestly both in their private and public lives, they need readers who has integrity and without skeletons in their cupboards.
The rudiments of a good and sensible rule of thumb in the search for a good leader is an informed history of an aspirant. If an aspirant is known to be corrupt and crooked in their dealings with the public in other capacities, it automatically disqualify them for public positions.
We know of aspirants who have stolen public funds to enrich themselves, it's an open secret that has been told to the parrot others have been directors in organisations or companies where things have not been too good with even murders and land grabbing making headlines.
Sen Engineer Ephraim Mwangi Maina is an honest entrepreneur and businessman who is above board both as a private citizen and leader.
Sen Ephraim Mwangi Maina is the best suited individual to take the helm of Nyeri county come 2022
The English would describe him as a gentleman, while to the Americans, Maina is one hell of a good guy.

What is happening to the invincible Nyumba ya Mumbi? We have been more than just numbers in the political chessboard a situation to which we are now reduced to.
The regions preponderance is being misused by forces from without, the region has in effect lost it's capacity to rally their heads together.
Where are our power elite and think tanks? Jomo Kenyatta, Dedan Kimathi and other heroes would turn in their graves if their ears or eyes see the current state of things.
Who will help the region see the light, it's bargaining power and the ability to harness it's immense potential?
Will we ever recover from the wounds and injuries of the current situation? If we are not completely destroyed, it might take years to rebuild the power machine that was build over time by our founding fathers.
