Appreciating the achievements of Baringo's top performing MCAs from the wards I visited recently.

Hon. Kipruto Kimosop my local MCA and Deputy Speaker has proven himself as a fearless and dedicated leader, relentlessly advocating for the people of Mochongoi Ward. Since his election as MCA in 2017, he has worked tirelessly to improve governance, enhance security, develop infrastructure, and ensure the rightful acquisition of land title deeds for Mochongoi residents. His commitment to fighting cattle rustling and banditry has made him a strong defender of the people, bringing much-needed attention to the insecurity that has plagued the region.
1. Championing Security: Fighting Cattle Rustling and Banditry.
One of Hon. Kimosop’s most significant achievements is his relentless fight against cattle rustling and banditry, which have long troubled Mochongoi Ward. His efforts include:

2. Successful Acquisition of Mochongoi Title Deeds (Ongoing).
For years, residents of Mochongoi have struggled with land ownership issues. Under Hon. Kimosop’s leadership:
The process of acquiring title deeds for Mochongoi residents is now in its final stages.
He has actively engaged with the relevant authorities to speed up the issuance process.
His efforts will provide Mochongoi residents with legal land ownership, boosting investment, security, and economic development.

Remains accessible to residents through his phone , public gatherings and even at his home in Yemit-Mukur where the gate is always open.
Ensures Mochongoi Ward’s views and proposals are well-represented in the county assembly.

Successfully pushed for the vetting and appointment of county officials, including our own Mr. Chepchieng from Kibagenge as Baringo County’s Director of Health in the past administration.
