Has it occurred to you that God who does not change can change? This is not a heretic statement; we have dozens of scriptures that confirm God can change His mind. Not because He is incapable to bring something to pass but because He has given us an opportunity to ‘reason together with Him’. Now let me teach you how Hezekiah used Praying in Tongues/Mourning to change a verdict that was already passed in the courts of heaven.

Isaiah was sent by God to bring a verdict to Hezekiah, the verdict was already from the throne of God and it was – You are going to die. If it were you, how can you take such news? The Bible says Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed, but how did he pray? We will look at the account of Isaiah to understand this;

Who are you trying to impress? Who are you competing with? How much energy are you spending trying to feel good enough, talented enough, smart enough, worthy enough? Try a different approach. Come out from under that pressure: striving and working. You have nothing to prove. What people think about you doesn’t determine your destiny. Accomplishing more is nice, but it’s not going to make you more valuable. Your income may increase, but your value is not going to increase. Don’t get baited into being competitive, trying to outperform, thinking that’s going to give you more worth. Run your race. Stay focused on what you’re called to do. Don’t live for people’s applause; live for God’s applause.

COVER THEM UP INSTEAD OF EXPOSING THEM.

After I had cleaned and tidied up my house, my brother phoned me and said, "My wife and I are coming to visit you."

I went to my kitchen to prepare something for them, but I could not find anything available to serve them.

After much thought and search, all I could lay my hands on were a few oranges. Therefore, I made two glassess of cold juice immediately.

When my brother and his wife arrived I was shocked to see his mother-in-law with them, who came to visit us for the first time.

So I served the two glasses of juice to his wife and her mother, and I placed a glass of water in front of my brother, saying, 'I know that you like Sprite.'

He drank a sip and realised that it was water.

And suddenly his mother-in-law said, I'm feeling for sprite. Please give it to me!

Here I was, baffled and caught up with embarrassment.

But my brother saved me by saying to her, 'I will bring you a clean glass from the kitchen.'

After a while we heard the sound of a glass breaking in the kitchen. He then came back and told his mother-in-law, 'Sorry, it fell from my hands and the glass broke. But no problem, I will go to the shop to get another one.

His mother-in-law refused and said, "There is no need for that. It was not meant for me anyway."

Eventually when they were going, my brother bid me farewell and placed some money into my hand and said, "Don't forget to clean the kitchen of the sprite so that ants do not come." And he bid me farewell with a smile and love.

In this way, my brother considered my feelings and concealed my shortcoming.

THIS IS SIBLING LOVE, AND BLOOD RELATIONSHIP.

When you're in a position, use it to lift others. Running anyone down will never make you better!

Let me ask, how do you treat your siblings, friends, family, colleagues, etc?

Do you cover-up their shame or you expose them?

"TIE BACK THE DONKEY"

A donkey was tied to a tree. A demon came and released it. The donkey entered the field of a farmer and began to eat everything. The farmer’s wife saw the donkey and was afraid that it would destroy the farm, took the rifle and killed it.
The donkey’s owner saw the dead donkey, got angry and also took his rifle and fired at the woman, killing her. When the farmer got home and saw that his wife was dead, he killed the donkey's owner.
The donkey owner's sons seeing their dead father, burned the farmer's field. The farmer in retaliation killed them.
When they asked the demon what he had done, he said:
- "I did nothing, I just released the donkey."
Do you get it? The devil doesn’t have power to do much, but one simple thing he does triggers the evil intents of men’s hearts to harm one another.
So, let's think before reacting .Be careful with your actions because many at times, the only thing the devil does is “release the donkey”.
So don't be fooled into fighting people, do the simple thing with love .
"Just tie back the donkey" and the devil is disarmed.

As elections draw closer, if politicians release the donkey, just tie it back.

"A man and his wife traveled to the zoo. They found a monkey who was passionately playing with his female. His wife said to him, "What a romantic couple."

Then, they found a lion and his lioness separated from each other; the silent lion sat alone in his corner as if the lioness did not exist. His wife said to him, "What a sad scene without love."

Her husband then said to her, “Throw that stone at the lioness and watch.” When she threw the stone at her, the lion roared to defend his lioness. Then they saw the monkeys again and she did the same by throwing a stone; the monkey then jumped up and abandoned his female to save his own skin.

Her husband then told her, “Do not be deceived by what you see as romance in some, often it is a deceiving appearance that hides an empty heart; there are others on the contrary who show nothing, but their hearts are full of sincere love."

SOME HARD FACTS ABOUT THE WORKPLACE.

1. Your boss is not your friend. Regardless of how close you both are, learn to set PROFESSIONAL boundaries.

2. Walls have ears. Be careful who you confide in at work. A listening ear could also be a flippant mouth.

3. Your employer is now concerned about RESULTS. How you get the JOB done is up to you. No excuses.

4. There is always that one person/ group of persons feeding the boss with happenings in the office. Some employees brief go beyond the official ( except in work cultures where such act is expressly frowned upon). Be guided.

5. When you get withdrawn from PROJECTS or someone is asked to understudy you or you get demoted without cogent reason(s), that may be a cue you'd soon be shown the exit door.

6. As much as you can, keep your private life away from COLLEAGUES. You might be under INVESTIGATION for achieving some personal great feat without you even knowing.

7. Somebody your colleagues may not even like you, it could be the way you LOOK, DRESS, SPEAK, your capabilities, accomplishments at work, your aura or for some weird reasons and that is fine. Everybody cannot like you, so accept that.

8. Pay attention to body language, tone, pitch and pace of voice from your team members, colleagues or your boss. They may provide important cues to what isn't expressly said. Studies have shown that emotions,likes and dislikes are communicated via 38% para- verbal and 55% non verbal. Only 7% are communicated via verbal communication.

9. There will always be that " exceptional colleague" who gets the job done, gets the recognition and praises. Don't let that feeling of DISDAIN or inadequacy set in. See what that person is doing differently, how they do it and learn. You'll become a better person. Be open to LEARNING.

10. While the workplace should foster POSITIVE VALUABLE RELATIONSHIPS, your primary aim is to get the job done and go home. Don't forget that

My wife, everyone has gone home. The music is quiet, the celebration is over. Our wedding was beautiful but it is now in the past.

We have finished the wedding/marriage, it is now time to build our marriage. All that is left now is the two of us

What we will become tomorrow, starts from tonight. Our life is no longer the same.

There was a day you put on one red dress. You looked so beautiful in it. That Day I wanted to just touch you!

We were in the Cinema and I was so tempted. I wanted to just take you inside the toilet and kiss you but I couldn’t.

Guess what? Now I have you forever, I can do that everyday.
Before I take off your cloth and make love to you… let me tell you few things.

I have nothing to hide from you from this day. My phone, you can use it like your own. You can access my facebook, my twitter and my Instagram From today, I have become a child.

For the past five years of my life, I have been a man. I wake myself up in the morning, sometimes I go to bed hungry, I do things the way I want to.
