Uasin Gishu Journalists Association started its operations in early 2018 and officially registered under the Department of Social Services in early 2019. The group composed of young people actively involved in the media industry (print, electronic and online) working for different respective media houses generates demand for accountability both in the government and public as well as playing the voice to the voiceless through amplifying concerns of the marginalized and minority.
