Yesterday was Diego León's first day at Old Trafford, with his plan confirmed and deal signed.

Harry Maguire is a chill guy. For him to have reacted in that manner to that penalty decision, the thing really pain the guy.

If Bayindir didn't save that penalty, that match could have easily turned to a 3-1 or 4-1 defeat.

The Premier League need to start holding these Referrees accountable.

I know they are Humans and they are not infallible but there are some horrible decisions that they make which spells doom for the team.

Honestly, this Andy Madley of a guy today gave a straight free kick to Arsenal after Collyer jumped and headed the ball.

Sorry to say but only Brighton or Wolverhampton of Nuno Espirito Santo gave us this kind of vibe or results; those guys were too stubborn.

Well, let's see.

Amorim set his side up in his regular 3-4-2-1 formation against Arteta's 4-3-3. Out of Possession, we set up in a 5-4-1 instead of our regular 5-2-3 OOP and in attacking transition, we pressed high in 3-2-5. But we did something else.🤔

I want to focus on the marking overload. When an Arsenal player had the ball, United's players were triggered to press him in numbers. There were various moments in the first hour of the game where United had 4 players around an Arsenal player, trying to both block his passing lane and dispossess him.

Amorim had numbers behind the ball and numbers attack the player on the ball. If you noticed, the quartet of Bruno, Garnacho, Mainoo & Ugarte were very essential to the success of this.

Because of the efforts of the quartet, the 3 CBs were able to sustain pressure when it came their way, part of the reason for that success was because Arsenal had a weak attack.

Martinelli, Havertz & G. Jesus were never going to really trouble Maguire, De Ligt and Martinez. To put it bluntly, Arsenal lacked individuality. Maybe if Saka had played, it would have been different.
