As the election season approaches, it's crucial for young people, especially those active online—bloggers and digital influencers—to understand the role they play in political campaigns. You have a significant impact on promoting candidates, and some even go as far as physically defending their preferred candidate against opponents. From past elections, we’ve seen extreme cases, like a candidate’s supporter taking a bullet while defending their candidate. These are facts, and they highlight the intensity of political involvement.

Many candidates often lure young people with grand promises, particularly job opportunities. While it’s true that politicians have vast networks that could offer opportunities, these opportunities rarely come without some form of service or loyalty to them. That’s the reality. However, the real challenge arises after the elections, when it’s time to fulfill those promises. That’s when you truly see the character of the politicians you supported.

I want to acknowledge those politicians who have genuinely empowered young people after assuming office. Leaders like Julius Kibet Bitok, Oscar Kipchumba Sudi, Onesimus Kipchumba Murkomen, Cynthia J. Muge, Felix Koskei, and Hon. Zipporah Kering are among those who have made a positive impact. I can personally vouch for them because many of my friends have benefited from their initiatives.

However, if your candidate fails to deliver on their promises after winning, it’s time to move on. Being a blogger or campaign supporter should be a one-time thing unless it’s truly beneficial to you. Don’t get stuck in the cycle of supporting politicians who only offer temporary perks, like riding in V8 cars during the campaign period. Focus on your own consistent efforts, work hard, and trust that God will bless your hustle. Leave behind the fleeting excitement of election seasons and prioritize your long-term growth and stability.

1. Tumia Bible verses kupray:
Usiombe tu from your own words. Claim promises zenye ziko kwa Bible, juu Word ya God iko powerful. Examples:

Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you…" Pray for your destiny using this verse.

Isaiah 54:17 - "No weapon formed against you shall prosper…" Declare protection and favor.

Deuteronomy 28:13 - "You shall be the head and not the tail…" Claim this for your life.

2. Pray against patterns:
Sometimes kuna vitu zinaendelea kwa life or kwa family ambazo ni patterns (altars). Uneza notice kuna sicknesses, poverty, ama struggles ambazo zinapitia watu wa family yako. Pray against such altars kabisa, juu life is spiritual, na Jesus pekee ndiye anaweza ku-deliver.

3. Ombea destiny yako:
Pray for your purpose na gifts zako. Uliza God akuletee destiny helpers—watu watakusaidia kukufikisha to greater heights. Remember, God ndio author of destinies, na hakuna kitu ngumu kwake.

4. Ombea spiritual breakthrough:
Hata k**a uko hardworking, disciplined, na obedient, life ina sides za spiritual na physical. Omba for spiritual growth na insight juu vitu zingine haziwezi jik if hauko aligned spiritually.

Keep hope alive. Trust God juu anaweza rewrite story yako at any moment. Hold on to faith and keep pressing on.

Usifeel k**a uko nyuma ya marafiki zako juu wako mbele kimaendeleo. Maybe wako na job na wewe huna, ama wanaonekana wameenda mbali kwa aspects zingine na wewe ukajifeel k**a odd one out. Usijipe pressure, time yako itafika.

Be encouraged!

Time and Chance Happen to Us All

Fellow young people, you may feel disadvantaged by circumstances beyond your control. Your background might seem incapable of propelling you to the heights of success you dream of. But let me introduce you to the One who designs destinies—God Almighty.

In the book of Ecclesiastes, we find reassurance:
"The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all" (Ecclesiastes 9:11, KJV).

This truth reminds us that life is not determined solely by natural advantages or human efforts. Forget the weight of your past failures, unemployment, or unfulfilled dreams. The law of time and chance, guided by God’s providence, can work in your favor if you trust Him.

In Isaiah 40:29-31, the Lord promises strength to those who rely on Him:
"He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint."

Take your eyes off the limitations of human aid and fix them on the cross, where supernatural abundance is available. As Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us:
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Even great thinkers like Ralph Waldo Emerson have acknowledged divine timing:
"Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience."

So, hold on to faith, step forward with courage, and trust in God's perfect timing. Your story is still being written, and the Designer of your destiny has extraordinary plans for you.

The Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) has announced an adjustment in their pricing for DNA testing services, increasing the fee from the previous amount of Ksh20,000 to a new rate of Ksh27,000. This change reflects various factors influencing the cost structure, ensuring that KEMRI continues to provide high-quality, reliable genetic testing services. This adjustment aims to sustain the institute’s commitment to excellence in medical research and public health services across the region. Stakeholders and clients are advised to take note of this new fee schedule when planning for DNA testing services at KEMRI facilities.
