*THE TRUTH ABOUT DIABETIC NEUROPATHY AND HOW THREATEN YOUR OVERALL HEALTH.*
👇🏾
*Diabetic neuropathy is a serious and common complication of diabetes, primarily affecting the nerves.*
The high blood sugar levels associated with diabetes can damage the delicate nerve fibers, leading to diabetic neuropathy. This condition can cause a range of symptoms, which may include:

⛔Numbness or reduced ability to feel pain or temperature changes
Tingling or burning sensation.
⛔Sharp pains or cramps.
⛔Increased sensitivity to touch — for some people, even the weight of a bedsheet can be agonizing
⛔Muscle weakness
⛔Loss of reflexes, especially in the ankle
⛔Loss of balance and coordination
⛔ Erectile dysfunctional

*The effects of diabetic neuropathy can be widespread, impacting various parts of the body.*
Some of the potential effects include:

➖Peripheral Neuropathy: This typically starts in the feet and legs and later affects the hands and arms, leading to difficulties in walking and performing daily activities.
➖Autonomic Neuropathy: This can affect processes like digestion, bowel and bladder function, sexual response (erectile dysfunctional to men), and perspiration.
➖It can also affect the nerves that serve the heart and control blood pressure, leading to cardiovascular issues so people with heart problem should not ignore this.
➖Proximal Neuropathy: This can cause pain in the thighs, hips, or buttocks and lead to weakness in the legs.
➖Focal Neuropathy: This can lead to the sudden weakness of one nerve or a group of nerves, causing muscle weakness or pain.
➖ Diabetic neuropathy can also leads to limbs Amputation.
*Managing blood sugar levels effectively is crucial in preventing or delaying the onset of diabetic neuropathy and mitigating its effects. It’s important for individuals with diabetes to work closely with their healthcare providers to monitor their condition and maintain their health.*

*ENLARGEMENT OF PROSTATE GLAND*

Prostate enlargement, also known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), is a common condition in older men mostly older than 50 years though it can also happen below that age.
It involves the non-cancerous growth of the prostate gland, which can lead to urinary problems.

*Here is an overview of BPH, including its causes, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment options:*

* # # Causes*
The exact cause of BPH is not entirely understood, but several factors are known to contribute to the condition:

1. **Aging**:
- BPH is more common as men age, particularly after age 50.

2. **Hormonal Changes**:
- Hormonal changes related to aging, such as alterations in testosterone and dihydrotestosterone (DHT) levels, may stimulate prostate growth.

3. **Family History**:
- A family history of BPH may increase the risk of developing the condition.

* # # # Symptoms*
The symptoms of BPH result from the enlarged prostate pressing against the urethra and affecting bladder function. Common symptoms include:

- Frequent urination, especially at night (nocturia)
- Difficulty starting urination (hesitancy)
- Weak or interrupted urine stream-weak urine flow.
- Dribbling at the end of urination
- Inability to completely empty the bladder.
- Urgency to urinate especially at night.
- Straining to urinate
- Erectile dysfunctional-most men with prostate enlargement will suffer from pre-mature ej*******on or poor er****on.

* # # # Diagnosis*
Diagnosis of BPH involves several steps:

1. **Medical History and Physical Exam**:
- A thorough medical history and physical examination, including a digital re**al exam (DRE) to assess the size and condition of the prostate.

2. **Urine Tests**:
- Urinalysis to rule out infections or other conditions.

3. **Blood Tests**:
- Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test to measure PSA levels in the blood, which can help rule out prostate cancer.

TURMERIC REMOVES FLUORIDE FROM THE BRAIN - CURCUMIN found in turmeric, appears to raise endogenous glutathione production in the brain, a major antioxidants defense system. The study investigated the mechanisms through which fluoride induces severe neurodegenerative changes in the mammaliah brain, particularly in cells of the hippocampus and cerebral cortex.
TURMERIC: This brilliantly-coloured spice is flavourful, but also has great body protection qualities. In addition turmeric can be both consumed and applied externally which makes it a great all-round bacteria fighter. For extra protection, you can mix turmeric with honey and create a paste to apply to skin.

Ten population studies showed that those reporting higher consumption of garlic had half the risk of stomach cancer. Those who ate more garlic appeared to have lower cancer rates than those who ate less, suggesting a protective effect.

Individuals who eat more than a clove of garlic a day seem to have better artery function than those eating less than one daily clove. A randomized study on heart disease patients found that those randomized to take garlic powder twice a day for three months had a significant boost in their artery function. They achieved a 50 percent increase in function taking only 800 mg of garlic powder a day—just a daily quarter-teaspoon.

Might garlic powder be able to slow the progression of atherosclerosis? Study participants took either garlic powder tablets versus placebo for three months. The disease’s progression appeared to slow and even stall in the garlic group. Of course, it would be nice to see an actual reversal in the thickening of the artery wall, but for that, one might have to add more plants than just garlic to their diet. Though, a daily quarter-teaspoon of garlic powder may be considered as an adjunct treatment for atherosclerosis.

When dozens of studies on garlic were compiled, researchers saw that garlic can also reduce cholesterol levels in the blood by more than 16 points.

What about garlic for high blood pressure? A systematic review and meta-a**lysis of randomized controlled trials demonstrated that garlic has “a statistically significant and clinically meaningful effect” on both systolic and diastolic blood pressure, reducing the top number by nearly seven and the bottom number by about five. That may not sound like a lot, but reducing diastolic blood pressure (the bottom number) by five points can reduce the risk of stroke by about a third and heart disease risk by 25 percent.

*POOR URINE FLOW FOR MEN*
*Weak urine flow in men can be caused by various factors. Let’s explore some of the common reasons behind this issue:*

➖Enlarged Prostate (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, BPH): As men age, the prostate gland tends to enlarge. The prostate sits just below the bladder, and urine passes through a channel within the prostate to reach the urethra (where it exits the body). When the prostate grows larger, it can squeeze this channel, making it narrower and more difficult for urine to flow through.

*Symptoms of an enlarged prostate include:*
⭕Weak urine stream.
⭕Straining to push urine out.
⭕Difficulty starting the flow or a stream that starts and stops.
⭕Feeling unable to empty the bladder completely.
⭕Dribbling after urination.
⭕Increased nighttime urination .
⭕Inflammation or Infection: Prostate inflammation due to infection can also lead to a slower urinary stream in men.
⭕ Erectile dysfunctional-most men with prostate enlargement will suffer from erectile dysfunctional and pre-mature ej*******on.

➖Urethral Strictures: Narrowing of the urethra (the tube that carries urine from the bladder) can cause weak urine flow.
➖Bladder Muscle Weakness: Poor contractility or muscle weakness of the bladder wall can affect urine flow.

*How to Address Weak Urine Flow:?*

👉Hydrate with Care: Stay hydrated, but be mindful of what you drink. Limit fluids in the evening, especially before bedtime.
👉Avoid artificial sweeteners, colorings, and excessive caffeine, which can irritate the bladder and increase urination frequency.
👉Medical Evaluation: If you experience persistent weak urine flow, consult a urologist. They can assess your symptoms, perform tests, and recommend appropriate treatments . Remember, seeking professional advice is essential for accurate diagnosis and personalized management. But avoid an operation at any cost because it wouldn't solve your issue completely.

*FLUID ACCUMULATION IN THE LUNGS/PULMONARY EDEMA*
👇🏾
Pulmonary edema is a medical condition where fluid accumulates in the lungs, specifically in the alveoli, the tiny air sacs responsible for gas exchange. This buildup of fluid can interfere with normal breathing and can be life-threatening if not treated promptly. Here are the key aspects of pulmonary edema:

# # # Causes
1. **Heart-Related (Cardiogenic) Pulmonary Edema**:
- **Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)**: The most common cause. When the heart's left ventricle can't pump blood efficiently, pressure increases in the left atrium and subsequently in the pulmonary veins and capillaries, leading to fluid leakage into the alveoli.
- **Heart Attack**: Can weaken the heart muscle, affecting its ability to pump blood.
- **Heart Valve Problems**: Such as mitral or aortic valve disease.

2. **Non-Heart-Related (Non-Cardiogenic) Pulmonary Edema**:
- **Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS)**: Caused by severe infections, trauma, or inhalation of harmful substances.
- **High Altitudes**: High-altitude pulmonary edema (HAPE) can occur in mountain climbers and travelers.
- **Kidney Failure**: Can lead to fluid overload.
- **Toxins and Medications**: Certain drugs and chemicals.
- **Infections**: Such as pneumonia.
- **Inhalation of Water**: Near-drowning incidents.

# # # Symptoms
- **Shortness of Breath**: Especially when lying flat or during physical activity.
- **Rapid, Shallow Breathing**.
- **Feeling of Suffocation**: Particularly at night (paroxysmal nocturnal dyspnea).
- **Cough**: Producing frothy, sometimes blood-tinged sputum.
- **Wheezing and Gurgling Sounds**: When breathing.
- **Anxiety and Restlessness**.
- **Chest Pain**: If related to heart problems.
- **Fatigue** and **Weakness**.

# # # Diagnosis
- **Physical Examination**: Listening for crackles or abnormal lung sounds.
- **Chest X-Ray**: To visualize fluid in the lungs.

*TOO MUCH ACIDS IN THE STOMACH (REFLUX ACIDS).*
👇🏾
Reflux acids, commonly known as acid reflux, refers to the condition where stomach acid flows back into the esophagus, the tube connecting the mouth and stomach. This backward flow occurs when the lower esophageal sphincter (LES), a muscle ring at the junction of the esophagus and stomach, does not close properly or opens too frequently.

When acid reflux happens frequently, it can lead to gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Common symptoms include:

1. **Heartburn:** A burning sensation in the chest, usually after eating, which might be worse at night.
2. **Regurgitation:** A sour or bitter-tasting acid backing up into the throat or mouth.
3. **Dysphagia:** Difficulty swallowing.
4. **Chest pain:** Sometimes mistaken for heart-related pain.
5. **Chronic cough or throat irritation:** Especially at night.
6. **Hoarseness or sore throat.**

*Acid reflux can be triggered by various factors, including:*

- Certain foods and drinks (spicy foods, fatty foods, chocolate, caffeine, alcohol, citrus fruits, tomatoes).
- Overeating or eating close to bedtime.
- Obesity-the obese people they are more likely to get acids than normal ones.
- Smoking.
- Pregnancy.
- Certain medications (e.g., aspirin, ibuprofen, blood pressure medications or diabetic medication) few to mention.

Managing acid reflux typically involves dietary and lifestyle changes, medications, and in some cases, surgical interventions a simple way of dealing with stomach acids is taking water regularly. If you experience frequent or severe symptoms, it is important to consult a healthcare provider for proper evaluation and treatment.

*THE FOUR STAGES OF CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE.*❤️

Congestive heart failure (CHF) is typically classified into four stages, according to the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and the American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. These stages reflect the progression of the disease and help guide treatment and management. Here are the four stages:

1. **Stage A (At Risk for Heart Failure)**:
- **Description**: Patients at high risk for developing heart failure but without structural heart disease or symptoms of heart failure.
- **Examples**: Individuals with hypertension, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, or a family history of cardiomyopathy.
- **Management**: Focus on risk factor modification, lifestyle changes (e.g., diet, exercise), and treatment of underlying conditions.

2. **Stage B (Pre-Heart Failure)**:
- **Description**: Patients with structural heart disease but without signs or symptoms of heart failure.
- **Examples**: Patients with previous myocardial infarction, left ventricular hypertrophy, or asymptomatic valvular disease.
- **Management**: Use of medications such as ACE inhibitors, beta-blockers, and possibly statins. Ongoing monitoring and lifestyle modifications continue to be important.

3. **Stage C (Symptomatic Heart Failure)**:
- **Description**: Patients with known structural heart disease and current or past symptoms of heart failure.
- **Examples**: Individuals with structural heart disease who experience symptoms such as shortness of breath, fatigue, or reduced exercise tolerance.
- **Management**: Combination of medications (e.g., diuretics, ACE inhibitors, beta-blockers, aldosterone antagonists) and lifestyle changes. Devices like implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs) or cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) might be recommended. Patient education on self-care and symptom monitoring is crucial.

4. **Stage D (Advanced Heart Failure )
