Compare and contrast this two buildings under construction. One has totally violated the construction laws set by National Construction Authority while the other has adhered to the said laws. I mean the one wrapped with a green net. Those who are well acquainted with construction rules understands full well why a building under construction must be having this net especially if it is close to electricity wires. The one at Gakira township where two young men were electrocuted last Friday has totally violated all the construction laws.

My question is and the ones many are asking themselves in Kangema and more specifically at Gakira, why did the contractor and the owner who isn't new in the construction works decided to violate the laws with total IMPUNITY? What was the Mūrang'a County Goverment physical and planning doing? Why did we arrive at a point we have lost lives because of violation of laws? What was the Kangema Sub County Public Health officers doing that they weren't regularly visiting this site to ensure their rules and regulations are followed? The accident which happened in that construction site would have been avoided if and I rewind, if IMPUNITY didn't take the centre stage over the LAW.

This building should not resume its work until it adheres to the National Construction act is adhered to. Look , I heard the building being sandwiched by it , owners and tenants have been living in fear. No iron sheets erected on both sides to arrest any material which may fall from it during construction. At Eastleigh, a stone fell from a building under construction and penetrated through a rental house through the iron sheets. It hit a young boy and killed him on the spot. Most of this accidents both on our roads and construction can be avoided. 98% of them is because of human error. When corruption takes the centre stage, what do you expect?

Sometimes back , someone can out claiming out how he ensured former President Uhuru Kenyatta got diplomatic roles to engineer and midwife peace both in Ethiopia and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The issue of Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Alliance subjecting aspirants to opinion poll isn't fair at all. Let the ballot take the day. Kenya isn't a Mongrel of the a democratic State. If opinion polls will be used to represent the wishes of the Kenyan voter , the , we will be worse than the pariah , autocratic and Despotic regimes that are spread not only in Africa but also in other parts of the world.

Let us look at this way. Kenya is grappling with a severe galloping inflation as we speak. The Consumer Price Index ( CPI) is waning. The Consumer purchasing power has drastically reduced. The cost of living has skyrocketed such away , Kenyans are making it hard even to put a plate on their table.

If opinion polls can be used by Political parties or Coalitions/ Alliances , then , why allow IEBC to use billions of shillings to conduct presidential elections when TIFA and other research firms have been putting the two front runners , that is Raila Odinga and Ruto at the apex and more specifically , putting Ruto ahead. This is the most undemocratic way of doing things. Very undemocratic indeed.

WHY THE KANGEMA PARLIAMENTARY CONTEST WILL BE WORTH WATCHING?
With less than 100 days shy to the August 9th general elections , wanjiku of Kangema will be heading to the ballot to elect her leaders who will serve her for the next 5 years. From the MCA all the way to the presidential slot. With this time wanjiku be confused by the party euphoria like she did back in 2017 general elections or this time round she will put aside her feelings and emotions and use reason to make her decisions?

Allow me to ventilate on Kangema Parliamentary seat. So far , the incumbent Hon Muturi Kigano will not be in the ballot. Yes!!! He is down but not out. So far , the seat has attracted the following contestants:
