About Yesterday:

We launched the construction of One storey building tution block at Mundika Boys Primary School. The building will comprise of offices and seven classrooms.
We dispatched ksh. 20 million for the start project, the total cost of the projects will be ksh. 46 million. Area Member of Parliament Hon Geoffrey Makokha Odanga promised more goodies for the residents including seedlings for farmers and more development.

ONGOING WORKS.....

After the launch of various project we are glad to report to you that works are going on well and taxpayer money is being spent in the right way.
Some projects have been completed like the Renovation of Alung'oli Sub Chief office while some are nearing completion.
With good supervision from Fund Accounts Manager and public works all the projects will be done in the right manner.

Wednesday August 7th, 2024.

We hosted our regional coordinator with his team who had come to inspect some of the state of the art projects that require additional funding.
Top on the list is Mundika Multi- Purpose hall, the project is 60% complete and had exhausted the money allocated for it. The office had requested for extra funding for it's completion that had resulted from variations. The project once complete will be able to accommodate 2000 students at a go.

The team also visited Lwanya Girls Administration Block, the project stands at 80%. The project requires additional funding since the initial structure did not capture the ramp which is an essential part of a storey building.

About Today.......
We distributed cheques for the following projects;
° Burumba Police Post, construction of 6 door modern latrine
° Burumba Primary Construction of 1 classroom
° Alungoli Renovations of chiefs office
° Busidibu Special School construction of 2 classrooms
° Mayenje Primary School construction of 1 classroom
° Munongo Primary School Construction of 2 classrooms and renovations of 3 classrooms
° Luliba Primary School Construction of 2 classrooms and renovations of 3 classrooms
° Khuderia Primary School construction of 3 classrooms
° Busendebala Primary School construction of 3 classrooms
° Bugengi Special School construction of 1 classroom
° Mundika Special School Renovations of dinning hall
° Buriangala Primary School Construction of 1 classroom.
° Mabunge Secondary school, additional funds for construction of 2000 capacity Multi Purpose Hall.

A total of ksh 67 million was disbursed today. Work resume immediately and all projects are fully funded to completion.
