A Man has stabbed his wife to death, kills himself leaving their 3 children behind following a domestic conflict.

The incident happened at Kabwareng, Aldai, Nandi County.

The husband Hannise Simani Juma stabbed the wife Winnie Akusuha at her parents home to death before taking rat poison and slitting his neck.

Their bodies were taken at Jumuia Friends Kaimosi Hospital mortuary as police begin investigations.

The two left behind 3 children, a boy and two girls who are now total orphans.

Speaking to Kimani Tv, Gelard Used to Save His Daily Salary Of Kshs 1,500 and added extra bonus from excess trip of about 2,000 Hence managing to save average of 3,500 per day.

He would then buy Construction materials every month. The journey have taken him 5 years to own his dream house

He advices people to saves whichever they earn whether big all small to accomplish home ownership dreams.

Tensions are escalating at the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) as Professor Ong'ondo reportedly seeks to remain in office beyond 2025, when his tenure is set to expire.

This proposal has sparked dissent among some board members, who argue that it contravenes the institution's policies, particularly those governing retirement age limits.

Professor Ong'ondo, who assumed office in 2020 following the departure of Dr. Joel Mabonga, has faced criticism during his term, which has been marred by controversies including allegations of irregular spending and financial mismanagement.

The push for an extension has raised alarm among staff and certain board members, with fears that prolonging his leadership could worsen existing challenges and erode organizational integrity.

"The proposed extension has caused widespread unease and raised serious doubts about its legitimacy. Disturbingly, there are allegations of bribery being offered to secure the reappointment, reflecting a troubling pattern in state institutions," a board member anonymously revealed.
