Basic Recipe

Ingredients (serves 2):
• 2 portions of udon noodles (fresh or frozen)
• 2-3 tablespoons mentaiko (spicy cod roe)
• 100 ml heavy cream (or milk for a lighter option)
• 1 tablespoon butter
• 1 teaspoon soy sauce
• Optional toppings: shredded nori (seaweed), chopped green onions, sesame seeds, or shiso leaves

Instructions:
