‘Pájaros de Arcilla’ es uno de los álbumes de Congreso que esperaba ansiosamente conseguir gracias a las nuevas reediciones editadas en el 2024. Congreso, lejos una de mis bandas favoritas!

Just picked up this one at my local store, I’m a big fan of the good old reggae but didn’t have any Jacob Miller or Augustus Pablo record in my collection and this French compilation is a perfect match to start with🇯🇲

String Band Featuring Isao Suzuki (1978)
Sometimes you have to be in the right Book-Off at the right time 🙏 Not sure why this record was priced so low when there was other quite expensive and valuable records around it. Maybe some tired staff put the wrong tag on it and I thankfully appreciate it, arigato gozaimasu!

La gente no suele compartir mucho compilados de música, no se porque, pero personalmente me encantan. Como este compilado de música de los años 50, pura energía adolescentemente bella vibrando a los compases del R&B y Rockandroll, una muestra de que estos ritmos jamás pasarán de moda🥰

I. George & Arrow Latin Group – Latin Album (Japan 1960) Ai Joji fue un cantante japonés de música latina que se hizo conocido en los nightclub de Osaka (!) y luego gracias a sus apariciones junto al Trío Los Panchos en sus actuaciones en Japón. Cabe resaltar que el Trío Los Panchos fue tremendamente popular en Japón en los 50s y 60s, y hoy en día se pueden encontrar muchos vinilos de ellos en todos lados🤣. La particularidad de I. George fue mezclar canciones y ritmos latinos con letras en japonés, pero también su habilidad para cantar en español!

Punk Rock de la mano de la legendaria banda española Siniestro Total, que buen nombre por cierto. Temas bastante rockanroleros en un plano musical más bien de diversión, con letras cargadas a la sátira pero siempre dejando transparentar esa actitud punketa que tanto se agradece.

Junto con Raphael y Julio Iglesias, Camilo Sesto forma parte de ese trío de ídolos de la canción popular española que traspasó todo frontera. Camilo era no solo un intérprete fenomenal, sino que también escribía y componía sus propias canciones. Este álbum, originalmente fabricado en USA e importado directamente para su venta en Japón, es un buen ejemplo de lo anterior ya que, a excepción del último tema, son todas composiciones del artista.

There were two Japanese editions for the 1985 second W.A.S.P. album “The Last Command”. The Obi on this one was wider and included a color cardboard inner sleeve, black and white insert with Japanese lyrics, 16 page booklet, poster, sticker and W.A.S.P. logo necklace! Today is quite hard to get a copy with all these items, specially the necklace. This is a NM copy with Obi, insert, sleeve and booklet but no poster and necklace 😅. Still a good find! 🎅
