I don’t know about you but for me ice cream is my weakness. Whenever I’m having a good day I want ice cream…whenever I’m having a bad day I want ice cream. 🍦😂
Self-care and wellness is not always about doing everything Super perfect and right. Sometimes it’s about indulging into your favorite snack whether it’s healthy or unhealthy.

Take a moment today and enjoy some alone time or with family and friends and enjoy a healthy snack.

Another day of limiting screen time. Day 10 was a full day, but today is only for a few hours.

I’m telling you a few hours of alone time and no screen time does wonders for your mental health.

Whether you choose to do this challenge in the morning or at night, be intentional about your time. It’s your time and you deserve it!!

Today’s challenge is to write a letter to your future self. This is a good one. There’s so much I can say to my future self. I can’t help but to think about little B as I brainstorm on what I’m going to write to Big B.

This should be a good one.

Being mindful about where we’ve been and where we’re going is major when it comes to wellness.

Today is day 23!! I pray that your day is filled with love and your hearts are filled with gratitude.

Today’s challenge is dedicated to declutterring and organizing a space. For many of us this could simply mean deleting emails and/or contacts from our phones.🙋🏾‍♀️

I have a great friend Patrice Washington who discusses the power of “Space” in her book “Redefine Wealth For Yourself” and on her podcast “Redefining Wealth”. She talks about how decluttering the space around you helps give you mental clarity. “Clutter is a physical manifestation of chaos in the mind” -Patrice Washington”

I couldn’t agree more. As a mom of three kids keeping a tidy home can be a challenge. We live in Japan so our common area is pretty small. It can get filled with toys very quickly. Even when I clean it from top to bottom…kids will be kids.
Often times, this makes me feel very overwhelmed just looking at the space with various toys, arts and crafts, and many other kid things. That’s when I clean something small. I will clean e-mails from my phone, our room, the bathroom…a place where I know I can have clarity for more than 10 mins. Small wins count.

If today is being spent with family, friends, or alone in your personal space….enjoy! If you can tackle a small win great, if not make a mental note of today and tackle it tomorrow. Remember small wins count too.

Alright 2024 will be here in the blink of an eye and it’s time to start setting our fitness goals.

Wellness is a journey and is made up of small choices daily. I like to break my fitness goals down the standard way…Short term and long term.

My short term goals are typically 30-60 days out. My long terms goals are about a year out.

Here’s to setting some fitness goals and sticking to them.

Day 20 is here!!! Again, this week is all about exercise and movement, which is a huge component to wellness and self-care.

I feel my best when I incorporate exercise into my daily routine.

My plan is to do 29 minutes of bodybuilding training.
