APC REACTS TO PRESIDENT JULIUS MAADA BIO

The All People's Congress (APC) is deeply concerned and therefore expresses profound disappointment in the recent speech delivered by President Julius Maada Bio. In his address, the President threatened citizens that, if they come with a bullet, they would be met with a bullet This statement, made amid the ongoing hunger, starvation, and economic devastation facing our nation, is deeply troubling. Notwithstanding, the APC is confident that the people of Sierra Leone understand that the ballot is mightier than the bullet.

Instead of fostering unity and offering words of encouragement to his people, President Bio has chosen to use incendiary and threatening language. Such rhetoric further divides our nation, which is highly detrimental to the social fabric of Sierra Leone.

The APC wishes to remind the public of the Agreement for National Unity, which contains a matual condemnation of hate speech and violence. This agreement, signed by both the SLPP led Government and the APC, states: "The government of Sierra Leone and the APC party strictly condemn all citizens at home and abroad who incite violence, spread hate speech and disrupt national cohesion (online and offline), and the government will continue all efforts to bring those involved to justice."

The acts and words of President Bio are ill-advised and unfortunate. The leaders of both the APC and the SLPP Government should be diligently working to bring together the nation and foster peace. During these difficult circumstances, it is crucial that we give utmost importance to the unity and coherence of our nation. The APC reaffirms its unwavering dedication to the fundamental tenets of democracy, freedom, and the rule of law. We oppose the utilization of governmental authority to coerce, persecute, or unlawfully confine individuals on the grounds of their political convictions or associations. The government should halt these unjustified steps and focus on fostering authentic dialogue and reconciliation, in accordance with the Bintumani Agreement, to guarantee the political stability and peace of Sierra Leone

We implore all citizens of Sierra Leone to maintain composore and concentration, and to allow the tripartite committee to proceed with its crucial tasks

Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi killed in helicopter crash.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has been killed after his helicopter crashed in a remote region of the country.
Raisi’s body was identified early on Monday by rescuers who had begun a search in the mountainous northwest of Iran near the border with Azerbaijan the previous afternoon. A hardline religious conservative, Raisi had long been seen as a potential successor to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Elected president in 2021, since taking office Raisi had ordered a tightening of morality laws, overseen a crackdown on antigovernment protests, and pushed back hard in talks with world powers regarding international oversight of Tehran’s nuclear programme.

Greetings Everyone.

The management of Ambassador King Boss LAJ will like to debunk the information making rounds that Ambassador King Boss LAJ assaulted the Mayor or his properties, these are unfortunate coming from the sources it came from.Nobody assaulted or touched him.

There was an incident with a truck driver on the high way headed to Kenema, the truck was driving badly that nearly derailed Amb LAJ off the high way amid an overtake, later on Ambassador King Boss LAJ asked why such reckless driving only to find out the driver was having issues with the truck and helped translating from Fullah to other motorists amidst the altercation from other people who stopped with same complaints of the long haul truck driver, Ambassador LAJ advsied him to park so as to not cause accident on the road trying to manage the issue, Amb. King Boss Laj drove off to continue his trip only to see someone wave him down that the Mayor was behind and he made a call to the the checkpoint for massive arrest of all the entourage.

On getting to the checkpoint, Amb King Boss Laj was cleared off the road and was being questioned about vandalizing the long haul truck and assaulting it's driver, Amb King Boss LAJ had to ask the Mayor who was at the checkpoint already, what he did to warrant an arrest with soldiers and officers of the checkpoint standing beside him.
The answer was that the truck driver was beaten by Amb LAJ and his windshield was also damaged as also asserted by the Mayor in his voice note and police press release.
Shortly truck pulled up to the checkpoint and parked, Amb LAJ invited the driver in front of the officers and the Mayor to confirm if he was harmed or if his vehicle was damaged and he debunked that statement saying nobody harmed him or damaged his windshield.

Shortly after the Mayor drove off and after a while later one male officer handed the seized helmet they seized over and the Ambassador, his team, fans and Rally bodies passed the checkpoint and continued the rally.

After the Rally King Boss LAJ stopped at a beef spot to buy something to eat, it happened to be across the police station, The Regional Commander Andrew Mustapha Kamara (CP) approached King Boss LAJ and told him that he'd like to invite him to his office about some complaints, King Boss LAJ told him that he is coming and that he already wanted to report this incident also but because of the rally's time sensitivity, he said he'd do it after the rally.

So shortly Ambassador King Boss LAJ went into to the police station with his manager, show promoter and another artist and his security officers.

On getting to the Regional Commanders office, the Commander spoke in bitterness from the report made to him and all his officers did same, disarmed Amb King Boss LAJ officers and shortly allowed Amb King Boss Laj to say his own side of things, before he could finish a sentence, the Mayor came in with a number of followers and threats ensued in the Regional Commander's offices, at some point Amb King Boss LAJ and his friends began to feel unsafe because the Commander lost control of the room and it was clear nobody could control the room.

Threats of society initiation, Amb King Boss Laj not leaving Kenema Alive and witch gun shooting continued and that was the end of the Ambassador's side of the story.
The Mayor was very particular about why Ambassador King Boss was wearing President Maada Bio's shirt, words like that "they blame the President for giving King Boss LAJ (a criminal)such appointment.
It was clear where all the animosity came from.
Ambassador King Boss LAJ and team were told they weren't arrested and that they are being put on protective custody, shortly police officers who allowed the entourage to go after the argument at the checkpoint came with cloths torn and claiming a different scenario of what happened.

Every other thing was done by the direction of the Mayor to the extent Amb King Boss Laj requested to be transferred to the capital as he doesn't feel safe anymore and that there's so much bias in play, so allowing any investigation will be futile as meetings and plans were made right outside and inside the police rooms. Death threats flying here and there in the police station at night by civilians with no rebuttal from the police.

Ambassador King Boss LAJ and team was advised to apologize to the Mayor as he felt disrespected by people who gathered because King Boss LAJ and in over 2hours, the Ambassador and his team touched his foot and apologized but he refused.

The next day, the Mayor came in to the Police station blazing that if anybody moves this case out of Kenema, that he will deal with that police officer.

It got so bad that loyalists comes into the police station at any hour and threaten to Kill Ambassador King Boss LAJ and simply walk out and go without any questioning right in front of the RCO and other officers.

The public is the only chance we have as a management to have Ambassador King Boss LAJ and team to be safely removed from Kenema and brought to Freetown as nothing of truth can happen in Biased Kenema.

We are calling on the President Julius Maada Bio, Firstly Fatima Bio, Vice President, Inspector General of Police to look into the matter as Life and death case cm Death threats.

Also we will like to ask the Police to investigate properly before releasing malicious statements against all parties involved.

Note: Earlier today the Mayor confirmed that nobody in custody was among his alleged Robbery allegations.
We will keep you updated as we receive more information and will make it public as the Kenema Police are seen in Biased scope at this point.
