The Japanese-style Weddings Admissions Group, consisting of Kyoto Prefecture, Kyoto City, organizations of temples and shrines in Kyoto, and companies related to weddings was established in March 2014, with the purpose of developing and promoting Japanese-style weddings in Kyoto as a new tourist opportunity for those visiting the city, as well as contributing to the wedding market and promotion of Japanese-style clothing-related industries by making the most of Kyoto’s uniquely charming features, such as its beautiful natural scenery and the four seasons, historical landscape, hospitality, culture and the arts.

The Group is now accepting online applications for photo-shoot wedding plans at famous temples and shrines in Kyoto while wearing traditional Japanese wedding outfits to create lasting memories of your wedding.

本日「桜だより」の発信を開始しました。
京都市内を中心とした桜の名所の開花状況を、月・木の毎週2回お知らせしていきます。本日現在はどの箇所もまだ開花前ですが、少しづつつぼみが膨らんでいくのを見るのも楽しいですね。
