Syria, Autumn 2013 | A Night in Aleppo
On the night of the 18th October, as we were going to sleep, the symphony of war was being played out all around us. We went with a group of FSA fighters to see what was happening. The FSA fired on a regime position using a 14.5 mm machine gun.
Turn on the volume to hear the sound of fierce clashes that were happening near our position.
Just imagine how the Syrian people and especially children feel when they have to endure this on a daily basis and how it affects their emotions and psychology. May Allah protect them.

During our humanitarian mission with Malaysia Life Line for Syria to Syria in October 2013, we visited the Salehuddin neighbourhood, the neighbourhood where armed jihad was first proclaimed in Aleppo. We saw the destruction firsthand, and had the chance to visit the frontline.

On 15th August 2013 hundreds of Malaysians demonstrated in front of the Egyptian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur to protest against the recent massacre perpetrated by the Egyptian Army against pro-democracy Egyptians. This protest was organized by IKRAM and a number of other NGO's.
