السينما، أو الصور المتحركة، هي فن تحريك الصور؛ هي وسيلة مرئية لسرد القصص وكشف حقيقة الواقع. وكلمة "سينمجي" وهي مفردة انتشرت قديماً في اللهجة المستخدمة في العراق وبلاد الشام بداية دخول السينما إلى هذه البلاد، وتعني الشخص الكثير التردد على دار السينما.

Cinema, or motion pictures, is the art of moving images; a visual medium that tells stories and exposes reality. The word "Cinemji" is a term which was widely used in the region of Iraq and Levant, when cinema houses have opened in the region. The term means the person who frequently goes to cinema. Cinemji - is an initiative which aims to create constructive cinematic dialogue that encourages the freedom of expression and the respect of the opposite opinion, which leads to individuals skills development in discussion management, and strengthens the artistic criticism of cinematic works from a queer femenist perspective, which have been produced in the south west Asia north Africa (SWANA) region and the world.
