The SHAPE... Magazine aids in the total development of individuals enabling them to become better students, peers and nation building citizens.
It promotes beauty from the inside out and having a great attitude that will bring about a positive change.
It also explores destinations and cultures of the world giving individuals an insight into the lives of other individuals and places.
The Mommy and Me Beauty Tour visited New York where we explored the culture of Iona College STEP Programme. There we met some beautiful and amazing students, parents and programme leaders.
Our prayers go out to them all as the world experiences COVID19.
We pray that they and their loved ones will be totally safe throughout this ordeal.
Iona College is situated in New Rochelle, New York.
This issue also features the
Solid SHAPE Ambassador, Mentorship and Exposure Programme.
This programme commenced in March.

What a year 2019 has been?! We discovered the cultures of: 2 Institutions (Blossom Garden Child Care Facility and Pregnancy Resource Centre of Jamaica), 3 high schools (William Knibb, St.James and Irwin High all in Jamaica), 1 college (Iona College, STEP programme, New York), attractions, communities, resorts and restaurants.
Our favourite part of these events was meeting the lovely children, students and mothers.
They have a very bright future.
Thank you again to all our stakeholders involved.
A massive thank you to especially who was with me EVERY step of the way, through the tears, sleepless nights and lack of resources to conduct our SHAPE workshops that were held in the summer of that same year.
We NEED a loooong vacay girl!
May God bless you all beautiful ladies of the crew, you outdid yourselves.
Through it all, we are very happy to have inspired many individuals to walk in their purpose.

The Solid SHAPE Workshops, geared toward developing and SHAPE-ing the total man (the holistic approach), recently held one of it's Solid Love Tour sessions at the Pregnancy Resource Centre of Jamaica
Our key note speaker and model mom, Mrs. Lorraine Walker-Nelson did a fantastic job motivating our young/teenage mothers at the centre.
Solid Group, believes in the holistic development of individuals, but our main aim is promoting being beautiful on the inside first and having a great attitude that will transcend outwardly.
Our aim is to create solid role models for the present and future.
We believe that mothers are the backbone of the institution of the family and play an integral part in the development of their children. Mrs. Walker-Nelson expressed this concept quite well to our mothers at the workshop.
