After leaving Alpha Boys School, Feluke became a professional percussionist, music director and producer. He worked with local and international artists such as Etana, Luciano, Ky-Mani Marley , Jimmy Cliff , and Gentleman. Later in his career Feluke established himself as a talented vocalist with songs like “Soul Alive” and “Past Tense”.

A multi-instrumentalist focusing on two of the most difficult instruments to learn, trumpet and trombone, Everol ‘Stingwray’ Wray has worked alongside top artists such as Dennis Brown, Marcia Griffiths, Freddie McGregor, Ziggy Marley, Jimmy Cliff and Junior Gong. He can be heard on “Doo Wop (That Thing)” and “Forgive Them Father” from Lauryn Hill’s Grammy-winning album “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill”. A regular member of Lloyd Parks & We The People band, Stingray also leads the group Skalareg.

Born in Cuba and educated at the Alpha Boys School, McCook was a jazz musicians who became one of the founding fathers of Jamaican ska and a founding member of the Skatalites - which lasted less than two years in its original format but has had decades of influence on music and culture. McCook later became band leader of the Supersonics, Duke Reid’s house band and the driving force in rocksteady music. The music Tommy McCook and the groups he played in created the foundation that continues to support the culture.

A graduate of Alpha Boys School, Lester Sterling was one of the founding members of The Skatalites Band and on his passing May 16, 2023, he was the last surviving original band member. In addition to his time with The Skatalites, Sterling worked with biggest names in Jamaican music including Byron Lee, The Wailers, Toots and the Maytals, The Gaylads, The Heptones, Coxsone Dodd, Duke Reid, Bunny Lee. He also released several compositions as a featured artist such as “Bangarang” with Stranger Cole, “Soul Voyage”, “Inez” and “Forest Gate Rock.”
In 1998, Sterling was awarded the Jamaican Order of Distinction in recognition of his contributions to Jamaican music.

After leaving Alpha, Bogey, like many of his classmates, migrated to Europe. In the 1950s he was playing alongside his Alpha classmate, Dizzy Reece. Gaynair built a strong body of work during a career that found him spending most of his time in Germany including this 1966 performance by Kurt Edelhagen & Wilton Gaynair entitled 'You Shouldn't'.
