The impact of Reggae is universal.

The hilarious and outspoken comedian and actor Godfrey Comedian shared some wonderful and kind words about the late, Great Jamaican Music Icon Jimmy Cliff

_________

We lost another legendary superstar. Jamaican singer Jimmy Cliff. Jimmy was this old school reggae star. In the same breath as Bob Marley & Peter Tosh. My parents had Jimmy Cliff albums!

One of my favorite songs is “My People.” When I was growing up, that was my jam! I also liked him because he talked about social issues, he sang against apartheid, & social injustice around the world. This man meant a lot to me and to people all over. Rest in peace to an amazing international icon! 🙏🏾
