Last November, the Go Down Deh Deejay took to Instagram with an update her fans on her medical condition after reports surfaced that she was in a coma for days.

She posted “Thank you Jesus for saving my life. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Hey Besties I’m in a better space today to properly update you on my current health situation.
I suffered a damage hernia a few days ago that sent my body into sepsis, as a result I was rushed to the hospital for immediate surgery. As you know I’ve been off Social Media for a while to rest mentally, so little did I know that during my medical scare it was already been said that I had a heart attack, I was in a Coma , and I also died 🤷🏾‍♀️but none of that is true. However I’m still recovering from what really happened so thanks so much for all the prayers and concerns, please take great care of yourself, eat, live, love laugh, like it’s your last day, I LOVE YOU ALL SO SO MUCH 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙.”

The Emancipated deejay also posted that going forwrd she may not be able to do her usual antics.

Dancehall DJ Skeng has one more reason to be jubilant after his airport “disorderly” case was dismissed in a corporate area court on Thursday (March 9). Speaking exclusively to WMV, attorney Christopher Townsend, who resented the “Likkle Miss” DJ in the matter he said, the warrant that was reportedly out for Skeng was an error on the part of the court’s staff.

“They had it said that a warrant was out for him and he was a no-show but on the last occasion the judge had made an order for the case to go to Case Management Court, and that happens at 2:00 in the afternoon, the Clark of The Court put it back in the morning without telling us and therefore the judge issued a warrant,” Townsend told WMV late Thursday.

Ishawna is back on the prowl with a new song titled “New Child” and a pink themed music video. IN her usual man bashing style Ishawna DJs about her lack for moving on.

“Low me low low me low me” she sings as the lead singer of a choir in a European church hat. It is the highest trending debut this week at No. 24

I difference in theme and sound from her last song “Brace It” featuring Ed Sheeran which was a groovy 90s inspired modern dancehall beat.

On “Brace It” the Only Fans content maker had matched Sheeran’s seductive energy back and forth as they suggestively said what they wanted to do to each other in nuanced dancehall lingua.

Dancehall come to today.

Las Vegas, a city on the west side of the United States known for its gambling culture and show stopping live show cabarets and pop star residencies. A quick google search of ‘things to do in Las Vegas’ will pop up several venues that play dancehall music, but very few bring the authentic Jamaican culture to the desert. Mona Bell, a Jamaican-American who started out in the world of entertainment as an actress in several roots plays, then transitioned into making a few Hollywood movie series plans to bring Jamaican dancehall culture to Sin City.

The Vegas signature dancehall event dubbed ‘MILK WHITE SOIREE’ happens on September 18, will have the prestige of North American luxury with champagne flowing, matched with high powered sound, non stop dancing, and an after party in true ‘all night’ Jamaican style.

Mona, 33 , speaks exclusively with Dancehall Report, the official media partner about why this event is important to Jamaica, the diaspora and everyone who wants to experience real dancehall in Las Vegas.
