I decided our basement family room needed an audio upgrade. The electric fireplace pulled right out, giving me the access I need to run speaker wire to the builtins on each side. But I didnā€™t have room for a center channel under the TV. Talked with and she suggested converting the fireplace to a simple builtin. So I have the case underway at the shop. Not sad to see the fireplace go. It looked cool when it was off and thatā€™s about it. It was also loud and didnā€™t produce very much heat. So bye bye fireplace and hello 5.1!
