💥Completed my first 1 hour work!! 😨

And let me tell y’all… I almost gave up the ghost! 💀

It was hard. It was long. It was hot!
But I feel so ✨accomplished✨and proud that I actually fully completed it.

Growing up, I knew nothing about Juneteenth. I never heard of it, I didn't even know it existed... I was a full grown adult the first time I heard of Juneeteenth, and even older when I really learned, and understood, what this day meant.

For a while I muffled my outward support, and vocalization, of this day and its significance, in order to not make "anyone" uncomfortable; I didn't want to draw more attention to myself or deal with any confrontations.

Then I got to the point of why can everyone else show support for their causes and love for their country, their culture, but I...We, have to stay silent, muffled, and not draw attention?

Today I celebrate, and acknowledge, the lives of those men and women who sacrificed life and liberty, for my life and liberty.

Today I outwardly support and acknowledge the day that conventional slavery actual ended.

What does your wellness routine consist of?

This past year, I have found that this routine every morning has helped me to feel my best, and keeps everything functioning as it should.

I look forward to taking my vitamins, my and morning smoothie. (The 16oz of water helps too 🙄🤮)

2020 taught me a lot about myself. My feelings and emotions were all over the place, and none of it had anything to do what what was going on in the world…it had everything to do with what was going on in the world of my mind; I felt so defeated and inadequate, and it affected how I approached everything…👀 I didn’t!

I didn’t approach anything. I didn’t deal with how I was feeling, and have the conversations I needed to have with myself, with God, or with others. I didn’t dwell in what was, but more in what I had created in my mind, and chose to believe was truth.

THEN…I snapped 🚨

It wasn’t a bad snap though. It was the, 💥 Girl get yourself together💥 snap,
the 💥you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus 💥 snap, the💥 you are the woman for the job 💥 snap, the 💥you got this 💥 snap….The, now get up, roll up your mat, and get moving snap.

And I did just that 🙌🏽

It took me over a year to get over myself, and truth be told, I’m still getting over myself daily. But I am enjoying ‘becoming’ me, and all that it entails.

Ladies, You are enough. You are the woman for the job. What you have to share matters. You just being you, matters.

We are no longer slaves to fear. Get up. Take up your bed. And walk.

Look at you girl! You are so Becoming!

What’s your Sunday looking like?
Often times we don’t think about, or realize, the work behind what we see. Throughout this Pandemic our church has been closed, but a small few of us still get up every Sunday Morning, and every Wednesday night, to go to the church for live stream production. We haven’t always felt like it, and we would have liked to be home watching church as well some days, but the blessing in the sacrifice and being in the building has been 🤯.... God honors sacrifice, know that!
