THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
We tend to see man more than God in all that we do. It is therefore imperative to change and renew your mind concerning your view of God.

Once you get that notion going, my dear friend God will be first in your life and you will do everything knowing that your reward will be from God and not man.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Many people never take time to consider the God who rewards. We seem to think that we deserve to be rewarded because of grace.

Dear friend in as much as God rewards diligence, He also rewards laziness and stupidity. Each one of us will be rewarded according to the things we did. What are doing dear friend?

MAKE GOD YOUR REFUGE!
“In you, Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame."
Psalm 71:1, NIV

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Where do you turn when you need refuge? When life's storms rage and you feel overwhelmed, where do you find safety?

Psalm 71:1 reminds us that our ultimate refuge is in God. The psalmist declares, "In you, Lord, I have taken refuge." When we make God our hiding place, we can trust that He will protect us from shame and harm. He will keep us safe through life's challenges and also be our rock and foundation.

Take a moment to reflect on your life. Are you facing difficult circumstances? Remember that God is your refuge. Run to Him, and trust in His protection and care. Never relent because of life's challenges.

: Dear God, I take refuge in You. Please keep me safe from harm and shame. Be my rock and foundation in times of trouble. I trust in Your protection and care. In the name that is above all names Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
God's ways are not are our ways, neither are His thoughts our thoughts. We often run away from His ways of doing things because they seem not to be understood.

Humanly you don't cast bread on the waters and find it after many days. This can't be one might shout out, but with God it is yes!

That is why the things of God are spiritually discerned. Dear child of God, your labour of love will not be in vain. Continue to sow deeply and in due season you will find all that you have sown.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Thanksgiving is very important when you consider the lifestyle of a believer. It comes before everything else.

You thank the Lord before you ask - then you testify about His goodness to all. Read Philippians 4:6 carefully.

Beloved let thanksgiving be major in your life and see what Almighty God will do for you. I encourage you to start the day by thanking Him through and through!

KNOW YOUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST

Rejoicing in our sufferings? Is it possible? Yes it is if you know who you are and who has called you.

Your identity in Christ is important to your walk. Once you are firmly grounded in Christ, your sufferings become your victories. You gain endurance, character and hope.

: Heavenly Father how awesome is your holy name. Thank you for another day. I ask for uncommon strength to stand my ground. Help me Holy Spirit. Amen and Amen!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Have you ever been in that place of expecting answers because you did everything in the word of God and they were not forthcoming?

I believe you can relate to it. However oftentimes you and I want God to work according to our timing and not His. You need to remember God's ways are not our ways

Dear friend, you need endurance as you wait for God's will to be done in your life. Hold on to your faith in Him and His glory will be revealed in due time.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Every now and then we get anxious. Raising up children, marriage, education, carrier and even friendships can generate anxiety.

Anxiety is not far from us, that is why there is the need of casting it on to the Lord. Today and always when you are anxious, take it to the Lord.

: Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Let your kingdom come in my life as I cast all my anxieties to you. Lead and perfect me Lord. Amen and Amen!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
The word of God is an assurance of our salvation, that is why you need the word to press on and stay on. Satan your adversary is not amused about your salvation and uses the guilt of your past life to get you off the hook

Dear child of God, next time you are attacked by your past life remember you are no longer in your yesterday. You are new, nothing of the past have to do with you. Keep on pressing on!

: Dear Lord I thank you for the assurance of my salvation through your word. Help me sweet Holy Spirit to stay connected. In JESUS' name I pray with thanksgiving. Amen!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
The word fight has a lot of meanings, in this context of the scripture it has to do with your inner struggles - the battle with your thoughts, emotions and desires

As you press on fight the good fight of faith with the word and prayer. Overcome your thoughts, emotions and desires with activities. Be around like minded people who can help and encourage you!

. Heavenly Father I lift you higher and higher. Holy Spirit connect me to the right who will help and encourage me in my journey. Amen and Amen!

GOD LOVES A CHEERFUL GIVER
Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
The church or the body of Christ is going through a series of attack. One of the attack is the art of giving.

Many Christians have been made to think that the ordinance of giving is man made. Some even think to give is to enrich the ministers who are in charge. There have been exceptions of misuse of funds but it doesn’t negate scripture.

Beloved carefully read through today’s scripture. Like Apostle Paul admonished the church in Corinth, purpose and give what is due to God. Don’t join the group of Christians who fight God and are not even aware. Dear child of God, your God loves a cheerful giver!

: Heavenly Father, you are great and greatly to be praised. Thank you for a new day. Today I choose to give purposely. I do so cheerfully. Thank you Jesus. Amen!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Today's scripture clearly reveals how your faith works when pressing on. Apostle Paul says that it is certainly not your strength but it is God’s strength that is working inside you to strengthen you, energize you, and create that longing inside you and that ability to fulfill your purpose for the glory of God.

Today and always cultivate the habit of looking on Jesus Christ and his power and not your power. Zechariah 4:6 says it all(read)

TEACH ME TO DO GOOD, HOLY SPIRIT!
Whoever diligently seeks good seeks favor, but evil comes to him who searches for it.
PROVERBS 11:27 ESV

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
To do good does not come on plates that have been served. It is something that is consciously done. The Adamic nature is not in favour of good. It is naturally prone to evil.

When you become a born-again Christian you are changed according to 2 Corinthians 5: 17 . The Adamic nature that causes you to seek for evil and do evil is now subject to the power of the Holy Spirit. You are guided and directed by Him.

Dear child of God, Satan seeks your downfall. He is not happy about your stand in Christ. He is on the look out to bring you down by causing you do evil and seek evil. Beloved resist him at all sides and he will flee. Seek therefore to do good and find favour with God. Think about it!

: Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you for your grace and mercies. Thank for the Holy Spirit my teacher. My teacher, teach me to do good and not seek evil. I am all yours. Amen!

To press on and stand in the face of adversity is not by words or your beliefs but also by a discipline called prayer .

Prayer is not a thing you do especially when you are in trouble. Prayer is ongoing, in every season of your life. Rain or shine you have to pray.

Dearly beloved because the enemy does not relent in his pursuit to outwit you, there is the need for your prayer life to be "solid", never relenting!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Ecclesiastes 1:9 says that ehat has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun. In other words whatever you are going through someone else has gone through and made it.

Those who made it are called crowd of witnesses, what they do is to cheer us up that we can make it also because they made it.

My dear friend in the Lord, next time you are about to give up because you are tired remember there is a crowd of witnesses cheering you on. Keep your faith alive and trust in the Lord.

DO NOT GIVE UP
For God called you to do good, even if it means suffering, just as Christ suffered for you. He is your example, and you must follow in his steps.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Today's Christianity is being presented as trouble free. So many of us can't stand the suffering that comes with Christianity.

We press on or push because we don't allow the suffering we go through push us off track. Jesus Christ said there will be many trials and sorrows - John 16:33

Suffering is also part of the walk just as blessings is part of it. Beloved when you go through remember Jesus Christ overcame so that you will overcome!

:My Father and my God, take all the glory and honour. Holy Spirit help me to stand and press on when I go through suffering. I pray and ask in Jesus Christ's powerful name. Amen!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
God is a spirit. Meaning God cannot be seen with the eye. God’s worshipers, worship Him in spirit and truth.

To be able to worship God in truth is to consciously be aware that God is with you wherever you are and in whatever you do.

With that in mind you can work heartily, expecting your reward to come from God. We often miss God’s blessings because we see man and not God. I urge you today to see God in whatever you do. Man forgets but God will not let your labour of love go unrewarded.

In today's verse Apostle Paul advises us to ensure that our behavior, reflects and confirms that we are followers and disciples of Jesus. People must see us as the salt and the light of the world by our conduct.

Apostle Paul advises us about pressing on that, by so doing we will never stumble in our spiritual growth and we will live lives that lead others from sin.

Dear friend pressing on as followers of Christ means that our lives must be epistles. Our lives must reveal Jesus. Today and always strive to press on in all aspects of your walk

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
The world we live today has become so superficial. Social media has changed the face of living a modest life. Everybody wants to be relevant.

As a result most people forget the law of reaping and sowing. They seek for dubious means to be who they are not. They seem not to be bothered what tomorrow will bring.

For you who is a Christian this should not be your goal. Your goal is to please the Lord and seek Him diligently. He rewards those who take delight in Him; seeking Him with all their heart. Child of God rebuke those devilish thoughts and wait on Him, press on till your change comes.

:Father, I thank you for a new day. I worship your majesty. I commit my day into your hands. Help me Holy Spirit to stay focused on the Lord, looking unto Him the author and finisher of my life. Amen!

The journey of life can be "seriously serious" at times. That is why many people you know have ended up the way they are.

As a Christian you have to know your God. It has to be a personal knowledge of him and not a head knowledge. Your knowledge of him is the reason you press on in the face of adversity.

My dear friend, times are not the same, this is the time to seek for God and the knowledge of Him. You can then be like the patriarch Job who declared “I know that you can do anything, and no one can stop you."

My Father my maker, I honour you. Power and might belongs to you. Holy Spirit give me insight and knowledge about my God. Amen and Amen!

Life and it's course is full of uncertainties. So many things are not promised a happy ending. It takes a mind that is regenerated to believe and to hope that God is in control.

It is said "if you can see it, you can be it", that is pressing on knowing that God is working even when you don't see it.

My dear friend, don't stop at life’s uncertain journey. Trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding. Remember God's plan is to complete it.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Yesterday we saw how much God is involved in our lives. What is meant to destroy works together for our good at the end.

We saw that the scripture works with a clause which is the love that you have for God. So the question is how does one love God? Jesus Christ said it this way, see John 14:15 - love is to obey His commands.

Dear child of God, today and always ask the Lord for strength to be obedient to His commands. Involve the Holy Spirit, He will guide and lead you.

Do you know all things are working together for your good? If your answer is yes then you can press on or forward in the midst of life's challenges.

However, the knowledge of all things working together for your good comes with a clause and that is you loving the Lord and being called according to His purpose.

Dear friend, have a good reflection on the above. Check your heart if you truly love the Lord. Let the spirit of the Lord guide you!
