👨‍🍳 While everyone is still on holiday here, we're cooking two big releases for the fall (and a super-secret third one which hopefully will announce soon):

🍯 The long awaited new album by THE PEAWEES, which will be released digitally the 6 of September and on vinyl couple week later.

The band is curently shooting videoclips, doin' all the promo stuff, and preparing for a season rich of shows, festivals and special events (like the annual Wild Honey ChristmasParty!)

🩵 New addition to our family are the new yorkers MIRANDA & THE BEAT, one of our favourite new bands!
Their second album has been recorded by King Khan, “Emperor of RnB", who commented :

“I never thought I would see someone be able to play guitar with the ferocity of Link Wray, and sing like Lydia Lunch had a nuclear meltdown and morphed into Etta James and Yma Sumac. Miranda and the Beat ARE the quintessential heirs to our rock n’ roll throne… May the circle remain unbroken. Consider the torch has not only been passed but its fiery tale is ready to set the whole world on fire all over again.”

The highly anticipated new album, Can’t Take It, will be out October 25th on Ernest Jenning Record Co./Khannibalism in North America and Wild Honey in Europe!

🐝 We're very happy one of our new favourite bands, MIRANDA & THE BEAT, to our little bee nest!

🥤 Their upcoming album is a fantastic milkshake of PUNK, RAW-Garage, R'n'B and Soul, melted with the unique voice of Miranda, and served with a solid and groovy backing band!
Wild Honey will take care of the European release, joining forces withv the great Ernest Jenning Record Co.

This is what Miranda herself had to say about the song:

"Growing up, my father would hide “earthquake supplies” in the garage in case of emergency. Big tubs of beans, rice and gallon jugs of water lined our garage for the impending collapse of society. I was not allowed to play music in the house as a kid so the old, crumbling garage seemed like a great place to play my guitar. One day, I became thirsty from writing one of my first worldwide number one hits and noticed one of the emergency jugs was half empty and I thought it would be safe to have a drink myself. To my 12 year old disgust (delight?) I spit out the contents immediately, as the jug was in fact full of vodka instead of water. Turns out there was a whole scheme at play to hide gallons of liquor in the garage to maintain a sham of sobriety and years of AA meetings. Thus, the term “earthquake water” was born, a running joke in the family to this day.”

🙂‍↔️ No RECORD STORE DAY releases for us this year.
Actually, I don't even know how we feel about this anymore...prices skyrocket and made most of the releases unaccessible to many of us...and the sense of "supporting your indie store" somehow got lost on the way.

👍 This said, we wish we had a good record store in our city (Bergamo, home of Atalanta beating Liverpool our of euro Cup 🙂 ), and we encourage all of you in doin everything you can to support your local shop / distro / reseller!

📦 And, just in time, TOMORROW we're gonna distro at this beautiful Indipendent Labels Festival in Milan, with many great live bands.
🍄 will represent your favourite little sweet italian firm.
