TREVOR SADIST BIO

He took his first steps in the music world in the distant 1990s in the beloved Valle Stura (Genoa) with the band "MORTAL OBSCURING" with which, two years later, he created the demo tape "WHERE IS, THERE IS NOT", before "extreme" work never known in the Valley. After this experience Trevor begins to look around, descending from his mountains to Genoa, his first hunting territory. It is here, in fact, that he starts to work alongside some musicians of the local scene, with whom he shares the first marathons in the rehearsal room and his great passion for Metal. From 1994 begins for Trevor an intense "turnover" of local formations: first the "DEADNESS", then the "BELIEF", another known ligurian band, and finally the "HASTUR" in 1995, with which he realizes the mini cd "MACABRE EX*****ON", which receives great acclaim from the public and critics at the national level. But, 1996 will be the year of the true artistic turning point, genial musical talent, which responds to the name of Tommy Talamanca, after a long series of auditions, strongly wants Trevor to the voice of his Sadist. Hence the incredible adventure that, from that moment on, will see him in the studio for five official albums "CRUST" (1997), "LEGO" (1999), "SADIST" (2007), "SEASON IN SILENCE" (2010 ), "HYAENA" (2015) and on the stage of the most important international festivals for hundreds of shows in Italy and abroad. In 1997 the first videoclip of the song "FOOLS AND DOLTS", taken from the third album Sadist "Crust", broadcast by the most important Italian and foreign television stations: MTV, VIVA TV, MATCHMUSIC, VIDEOMUSIC, etc. In 1998 Trevor is a guest of the TV program of Italia 1 "TEMPI MODERNI" conducted by Daria Bignardi and, in the following months, of "VERISSIMO" on Canale 5. In 1998 he will rise with Sadist on the stage of the Roxy Bar (TMC). Between one television appearance and another, the SADIST live activity continues around Europe: France, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, Czech Republic and Slovakia. Among the many live sets we must remember the show in 1998 at "WACKEN OPEN AIR", the biggest and most important metal festival in Europe, where SADIST participate as the first ever Italian band. In 2000 for Trevor still a television appearance in the broadcast of Canale 5 "CIAO DARWIN", conducted by Paolo Bonolis.In the summer of the same year Trevor, together with other important musicians of the Italian rock scene, will challenge none other than the IRON MAIDEN in a football match on Milan's training ground at Milanello (MI). The year 2000 will mark for Sadist the beginning of a long reflective pause after the tour of "Lego", album released the same year, the band members decide a peaceful and consensual separation that will last six years. 2001 is the year in which Trevor begins to collaborate with Sky TV station "ROCK TV", first as veejay and interviewer, then as a presenter in one of his column on air every week on Sky channel 718. In May 2002 Trevor is in the jury of the I-Tim Tour, in the company of other guests. The musical activity of Trevor does not end here, in 2003, together with major rock turnists, he set up the "DIRTYBALLS", a dynamic tribute AC / DC in the company of Roberto Tiranti of LABYRINTH and Claudio Cinquegrana, guitarist who, among many collaborations, boasts the one with two real legends of international rock: GLENN HUGHES and IAN PAICE of DEEP PURPLE. With his tribute band, in four years of activity, the 200 concerts are touched with literally memorable shows, like the one at the Genoa Palasport on the occasion of the 110th anniversary party of the GENOA CRICKET AND FOOTBALL CLUB, his favorite team, in which the band performs in front of 30.000 exultant people, as in many other occasions throughout Italy. 2003 seems to be a very important year for Trevor, who signs a framework agreement with NADIR MUSIC Srl, a company based in Genoa that operates in music in various sectors of activity: recording & mastering studio, discography, management and publishing for which he holds the role of promoter and a/r. In the same year he began the activity of director and artistic consultant for some important Italian rock clubs: CENCIO'S (Prato), LOGO LOCO (Genoa), THUNDER ROAD (Pavia), MEPHISTO (Alessandria) and others... In 2005, together with the always trusted buddy and mind mate of the Sadist Tommy Talamanca, he gave life to a new artistic project: the "THE FAMILI" with which he made the first self-titled album and the video clip of the song "CHOP CHOP MAN". Exactly one year later it is already time for the second chapter: "NEONOIR" and the video clip "MURDEROUS MONKEY".We are in 2006, perhaps the most important artistic moment for Trevor and his SADIST: the return on the track after six years, celebrated in the best way to the "EVOLUTION FEST" in front of 5000 spectators literally in raptures for the long-awaited reunion of the band . In the meantime, the activity of promoter continues, always in close collaboration with NADIR MUSIC in whose roster, among the many artists, the "DAEMONIA" of Maestro Claudio Simonetti (former GOBLIN and maker of all the most successful soundtracks by Dario Argento) stand out. 2007 is not less important, when the Sadist signed a LIVE NATION agreement, the most important international music agency. Precisely following this important partnership, SADIST will be confirmed at the most prestigious European festivals: Hellfest, Metal Camp, Brutal Assault, Sonispheres, Gods of Metal, Metal Fests, Metal Heads Mission, etc. and will support some of the most important names on the world scene: Motorhead, Korn, Ozzy Osbourne, Machine Head, Amon Amarth and Mastodon, to name a few, up to the memorable show at the Olympic Stadium in Rome in June 2007 in support of a true legend of Metal: the Iron Maiden. In July of the same year Trevor was called to play an unusual role for him: that of presenter of the third edition of the EVOLUTION FEST in Florence. Among the many collaborations, a note of merit deserves the project H-GEORGE, to which Trevor has lent his voice to the mini cd "NEUROTIC", which will be welcomed with enthusiastic reviews by all the insiders. In the autumn of 2007 Trevor gives life to the "METAL GANG", a new project of "all stars" in the company of the best artists of the Italian heavy scene: PINO SCOTTO, GL PEROTTI, TOMMY MASSARA (EXTREMA), R.TIRANTI, (LABYRINTH ), OLAF THORSEN, BIX, FABIO LIONE (VISION DIVINE), BUD, ROLANDO (STRANGE OFFICINA), MORBY (DOMINE), TOMMY, ALESSIO, ANDY (SADIST), PIER GONELLA (NECRODEATH) and many others with whom he will be a guest of the most famous rock clubs in Europe, proposing a show with all the great classics of hard'n'heavy music. In autumn another editorial collaboration proposal, this time with the magazine "METAL MANIAC" in which, from the month of October, will be present his monthly column "STAY BRUTAL", cured with obsessive professionalism. Spring 2008: Trevor participates as a guest in the album PINO SCOTTO lending his aggressive voice in the song "LE STELLE CADENTI".In 2008 the Sadists attended several important international festivals: "ITALIAN GODS OF METAL", "D**G OPEN AIR" in Germany, "STONEHENGE FEST" in Holland, the "BRUTAL ASSAULT" in Czech Republic, without forgetting the return to "EVOLUTION FEST "two years after the triumphal show of the reunion, defined by the same band as the most exciting concert in the whole history. In 2008 Trevor collaborated on the realization of the album "INFERNAL POETRY", one of the most promising bands in Italy, proposing a new version of some pieces of the group, already present on their last ep. In September of the same year the Sadist left for Armenia for the first tour ever held by an Italian band in that territory. In December, Trevor will be called to replace the Danish singer J.Bredhal (Hatesphere) in the ALLHELLUJA project which also includes: Tommy Massara and GL Perotti, both of EXTREMA. In February 2009 Trevor participates in the realization of Claudio Simonetti's live DVD recorded at the historic Rome club "STAZIONE BIRRA" with the song "MATER LACRIMARUM" inserted in the soundtrack of the film "THE THIRD MOTHER" by Dario Argento. In July 2009 the Sadist will be engaged in tours in the most important cities of Europe among these: Kiev, Athens, Moscow. In July of the same year Trevor is the creator and artistic director of the first edition of Metal Valley Open Air, a metal festival organized in his hometown: Rossiglione (GE). For this first edition will be called important international bands: Entombed, Rotting Christ, Necrodeath etc. November 2009: SADIST will be the opener of the Italian tour of the famous swedish band AMON AMARTH. March / April 2010: 'Season in Silence' is released, sixth album at SADIST. Trevor, as always, will take care of all the lyrics, the concept album and all the graphics focused this time on winter in his beloved Vallestura. June 2010: SADIST are called to support MEGADETH in the Italian stages of their tour. July / August 2010: following the release of the new album Trevor and SADIST will land on the stages of the most important European open air: HELLFEST (France), METAL FEST (Austria, Hungary, Germany), BRUTAL ASSAULT (Czech Rep), METAL CAMP (Slovenia), GODS OF METAL (Italy), METAL MEAN (Belgium), etc. Autumn 2010: the band leaves for a long tour to the East, where the SADIST will be engaged in the role of headliner for 30 concerts in: Russia, Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Latvia, Estonia, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Lithuania. At the end of October Trevor gives life to a collaboration with ROCK'N'ROLL RADIO (formerly ROCK FM) where, every Monday evening, he takes care of a section dedicated entirely to the most extreme music. November 2010: even RAI 1 notices Trevor and SADIST dedicating to the band an exclusive service to the national TG1. In January 2011 the books come to light: HORROR ROCK, DATEVI FUOCO and MASCHERE, to which Trevor participates writing some chapters. April 2011: Trevor and his SADIST will play alongside SLAYER and MEGADETH in their CARNAGE TOUR. July 2011: Trevor will be grappling with the organization of the second edition of Metal valley Open Air. Among the bands participating in this second edition Deicide, Belphegor, Strana Officina, Skanners, Elvenking, etc. July 2011: Trevor and Sadist are co-headlining at Maximum Rock Fest with the historic Brazilian band Sepultura. December 2011: Trevor and Sadist are headliners at the Helvation Fest in Helsinki, Finland.December 2011: Trevor in the company of Tommy from Sadist, Jeroen Thesseling of Pestilence / Obscura and Romain Goulon of the Necrophagist give life to the Nufutic project which will shortly produce the single "Dark Full Moon". March 2012: Trevor with his Sadist will be the protagonist of a tour in England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland and France, in the company of Suffocation, Cattle Decapitation, and other extreme bands. April 2012: the book Sub-Terra comes out, of which Trevor takes care of a chapter dedicated to Sadist and to Metal music in Italy. May 2012: Trevor will be the presenter of the first edition of Metal Italia Fest, with the participation of bands like Moonspell and Lordi. May 2012: Trevor, for the first time, will be invited to participate, in the role of co-star, in a horror film: Extreme Jukebox in which he will play the role of the "monster of the woods", a heinous psychopathic serial killer. June 2012: another horror film is released in cinemas across the peninsula: "Paura 3D" by The Manetti bros, whose soundtrack is played by the Sadist with the song "One Thousand Memories". May 2013: Sadist and Trevor participate as co-headliner at Metal Italia Fest where they bring a special celebratory show of the 20 years since the release of the first album "Above the Light" and in which, for the occasion, all the songs are revisited of the record with the participation on the stage of a string quartet. October 2013: Sadist and Trevor participate in the 15th anniversary of the "Garmonbozia" festival in Rennes (France) in the company of other big names in the metal scene: Coroner, Xentrix and Na**lm Death. January 2014: Trevor is invited to participate in "ROCK AGAINST CANCER", a charity event at the Trezzo Adda Live Club, in the company of other important artists: Folkstone, Michele Luppi, Destrage, etc. August 2014: Trevor begins a new editorial adventure: he will manage a column dealing with serial killers, music and current events in the prestigious Metal Hammer magazine. January 2015: Trevor is reviewer for the specialized Rock Garage webmagazine. February 2015: Trevor and his Sadist enter the Nadir Music Studios for the recordings of the new official album, the seventh from the foundation of the band. February 2015: Trevor starts a new radio adventure on the Yastaradio web channel with its "River Flow Free" column. March 2015: Trevor lends his voice to Enio Nicolini's project, in which he is hosted by other important Italian and foreign singers: Blaze Bailey (formerly Iron Maiden), Morby (Domine, Sabotage) and Bud (Strana Officina, Bud Tribe) ), etc. April 2015: Trevor organizes a series of "thrilling" evenings with film forums and debates on the world of Horror, curated and told by Trevor. May 2015: on the Green Stage of the International Music Fest of Genoa (F.I.M.), Trevor will be interviewed about his life and his artistic career by Gianni Della Cioppa of Classix Magazine. In October 2015 the new and highly anticipated album Sadist "Hyaena" is released. In February 2016 Trevor and the Sadist take part in the new album by Pino Scotto, recording the Vanadium song "Streets of Danger". In April 2016 begins the "Hyaena Biting Europe Tour 2016", which will bring Trevor and the Sadist around Europe, 50 concerts between: Italy, Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Czech Republic, Moldova, Armenia, Georgia, France and England. June 2016 Trevor and Sadist, participating for the second time at the Hellfest in France, is one of the most important festivals in Europe and beyond, at the 2016 edition the Sadist will share the stage with: Rammstein, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath , Slayer, Megadeth, Testament, Overkill.In July 2016, once again Trevor and the Sadists will share the stage with the Slayer, in the evocative setting of the Alpe Adria Arena, in Lignano Sabbiadoro. For the third time the Sadist, led by frontman Trevor, will be at the Brutal Assault, near Prague (Rep.Ceca), this is the most important festival in Europe, dedicated to the most extreme Metal. On September 6th, Trevor is called, with his tribute AC / DC, to attend the party of Genoa CFC, for the 123rd birthday, in addition to the concert, Trevor, in front of 15.000 fans cheering, will have the task to introduce on stage, the Mister of Genoa, Ivan Juric, on the notes of "It's a long way to the Top", under the eyes of a bewildered Ornella Muti, godmother of the evening, the service of the party will be broadcast on Italia1 (Mediaset). October 02 Trevor and the Sadist take to the stage of "Prog Power Europe", a festival held in Baarlo, a town near Rotterdam, in the Netherlands. November 12, Trevor, appears in the special guests, for the thirtieth anniversary of the blacksters Mortuary Drape, together with members of: Watain, Shining. Bulldozer, Death SS, Ancient ... December 2017 Trevor is called by the label Black Widow to participate in the tribute to the Death SS, it will be his task to rearrange the song "Panic". January 2017 is out of the videoclip "Streets of Danger", collaboration between Pino Scotto and the Sadist. February 2017 Trevor's pen continues to write pages of his first book, out between the end of the year and the beginning of 2018. April 28, 2017 the video clip "Den Siste Kamp" comes out, the song on the album "Tribe" for the occasion was rearranged with the extraordinary participation of the Gnu Quartet, string quartet that boasts important collaborations in the world of music ( Piero Pelù, Negramaro, De Gregori, Samuel Bersani, Boosta, L'Aura, PFM, New Trolls). April 28, 2017 ends the season of "thrilling evenings" for the occasion Trevor is assisted by an exceptional shoulder, Teo Mora, professor of the university of mathematics of the department of Genoa and lover of thrilling cinema, as well as author of the essay "the history of horror cinema", the two will give life to an interesting chat, in front of an attentive audience. May 2017 Trevor is the speaker of "Metal Maximum Radio", he will be editing a weekly column on the radio, entitled "Metal or Bust". June 2017 Trevor begins recording his album, which will be released in the fall. Trevor and the Wolves is the name of the band. Some special guests on record: Christian Meyer (Elio e le Storie Tese), Paolo Bonfanti, Grazia Quaranta, Stefano Cabrera (Gnu Quartet), Francesco Chinchella and Daniele Winterage. June 2017 the Sadist are personally chosen by Kerry King and Tom Araya, respectively guitarist and bass / voice of the Slayer to accompany them in their only Italian date of the year, as the only support band. July 2017 Trevor is the pen of "Loud & Proud", webmagazines of the editorial staff of Metal Maniac. July 7, 2017 Trevor takes the stage of the Arena del Mare at the Porto Antico in Genoa to accompany the maestro Claudio Simonetti. December 22nd 2017 start shooting the video clip "Burn at Sunrise" song contained in the debut album Trevor and the Wolves entitled "Road to Nowhere", the video was directed by Matteo Siri.
