I had the honour to release two records with them and I can't think of a better band which condensate ancient rituals, modern industrial and psychedelia in their sound.

Tornato, sano e salvo dalla trasferta ad Arezzo ROSY BOA per la rassegna Spettri Sonori.
La galleria di Rosy Boa è un posto magnifico e sono molto contento di aver conosciuto le persone che la animano.
Mucha gratitudine a Iacopo Gradassi per avermi invitato, è stato un weekend davvero div3rt3nt3 (lo so, lo so, lo so, non è da me) e sono molto felice di aver passato del tempo in mezzo a vecchi e nuovi amici.
Ringraziamento particolare a Santa Chiara Colli che ha tenuto in piedi il talk con me e mr. Zen Hex che altrimenti sarebbe potuto debordare in un maelström di rosicate e dissing (e bestemmie) ed è riuscita a farci fare (quasi) bella figura.

Qui sotto delle foto di cui una rubata e una che non ho capito cosa ho fatto ma sono le uniche che ho sul telefono.
Perdonate, ma sono fuori allenamento.

Si ok la spiegazione qui sotto, ma in ogni caso, una roba che si chiama ROTADEFERO uno la va a vedere a prescindere, raga non facciamo gli sciocchi su.

Rotadefero è un collettivo di improvvisazione noise/industrial che utilizza attrezzi da lavoro, trapani, barili, percussioni di metallo e non, vecchie macchine analogiche, tastiere e sintetizzatori; indossa maschere in lattice e costumi ideati e realizzati dai performer stessi, che rendono i set live più simili a pièce teatrali che a concerti. Dal vivo, le loro performance sono sempre diverse, ispirate all'ambiente che li ospita, uniche, evocative e decisamente rumorose.

E' stato Iacopo Gradassi aka Zen Hex a presentarmi il ragazzo qui sotto dicendomi "secondo me ti piace" e infatti poi ho fatto uscire il 12" one-sided di "Illuminant/Glory".
Questo per dire che non è un caso se il prossimo weekend ci sarà un talk dove diciamo le cose io e Iacopo e poi ci sarà una performance di Passed.

Passed è un progetto attivo dal 2016. Liberamente ispirato al misticismo religioso, esplora una visione del tutto personale di musica rituale e dei suoi connotati più ipnotici ed estatici. Ciò che ne nasce è una miscela di psichedelia e fisicità fatta di droni, percussioni e invocazioni.

Per Spettri Sonori, "The Fall of Chrome" diventa una installazione audio/video permanente, visitabile nei tre giorni di incontri ad Arezzo.

Condottiero e conduttore della fierissima Second Sleep, musicista dalle molte casacche, tra cui Lettera 22, Primorje, Drug Age in compagnia e Mercury Hall e Kam Hassah in solo, l'amico Matteo Castro è da oltre un decennio un punto di riferimento nel mondo del noise, della musica concreta e di tutte le possibili filiazioni illegittime dei due mondi.
E' un piacere ritrovarsi nello stesso programma di Spettri Sonori, state pronti alle Veneto vibes. (si dice così?)

Le immagini e i suoni hanno il potere di trasportarci altrove, di esplorare luoghi reali e non come mai avremmo potuto.
Adriano Zanni è maestro di immagini e suoni con il quale ho avuto l'onore di collaborare a più riprese.
Alla fine di Maggio farà uscire il suo lavoro definitivo, un lussuoso libro in brossura nel quale ha condensato dieci anni di selezioni dal suo sterminato archivio di immagini.
Si intitola "These Important Years" ed oltre alle sue magnifiche foto contiene degli audio-files fruibili via QR code ed una bonus soundtrack di pezzi inediti.
Ho avuto modo di vederne la preview e posso garantire che è un lavoro eccezionale.
Il lavoro è completamente autoprodotto, un motivo in più per supportarlo direttamente.
