Since 1888 the Orsoni furnace has been producing pieces of glass mosaic with gold leaf and glazes, with projects ranging from the Basilica of San Marco in Venice to the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. Remaining the last active furnace in the historic center of Venice, it is a unique and fascinating place where every year around twelve thousand square meters of gilded tiles and Venetian glazes are produced.

Dal 1888 la fornace Orsoni produce tasselli di mosaico di vetro a foglia d'oro e smalti, con progetti che vanno dalla Basilica di San Marco a Venezia alla Sagrada Familia a Barcellona. Rimasta l'ultima fornace attiva nel centro storico di Venezia, è un posto unico ed affascinante dove ogni anno vengono prodotti intorno ai dodicimila metri quadri di tessere dorate e smalti veneziani.

All'interno del Forte Col Badin, a Chiusaforte in Italia, è stato allestito il Museo della Grande Guerra, per rievocare le esperienze dei soldati durante il primo conflitto mondiale. Aldabra ha partecipato a questa riqualificazione con i proiettori Proteo, installati su lunghi binari che creano un percorso per la visita illuminando teche e tabelloni murali, mentre i proiettori Luxor danno accento a particolari reperti.
