DARKROOM MAGAZINE nasce nel 2007 con la missione di dare visibilità alla musica dark nelle sue varie forme attraverso recensioni, interviste e live-report. Nei 12 anni di vita della rivista abbiamo pubblicato più di 4000 articoli riguardanti sia le band più note della scena, sia quelle emergenti, a dispetto del formato o della tiratura.
Darkwave, gothic, goth-rock, deathrock, ethereal, dark ambient, industrial, EBM, synthpop, electropop, futurepop, neofolk, symphonic, dark-electro, power-electro, shoegaze, IDM, harsh-electro, noise, aggrotech etc. sono i benvenuti sulle nostre pagine. CD, CDr, vinile, cassette, DVD e qualsiasi altro formato fisico sono i benvenuti per una recensione, che si tratti di album, EP o singoli, mentre non ci occupiamo di uscite disponibili esclusivamente in digitale, né prendiamo in considerazione le proposte che ci giungono via download.
Se siete interessati ad una nostra competente e professionale recensione, contattateci all’indirizzo email [email protected](o via messaggio sulla nostra pagina facebook) per richiedere l’indirizzo a cui spedire il vostro materiale. Di norma ci occupiamo solo di uscite nuove o comunque “ancora fresche” (leggi: uscite negli ultimi sei mesi), ma se non siete sicuri che il vostro sound sia adatto ai nostri contenuti, mandateci una email per fornirci un link per un pre-ascolto, così potremo dirvi se esso sia adatto per una recensione sulle nostre pagine.

DARKROOM MAGAZINE was born in 2007 with the intention to give exposure to the world of dark music in its many forms through reviews, interviews and live-reports. In these 12 years of life we published more than 4000 articles about both the most renowned bands/artists and the newcomers, despite the format or the amount of printed copies.
Darkwave, gothic, goth-rock, deathrock, ethereal, dark ambient, industrial, EBM, synthpop, electropop, futurepop, neofolk, symphonic, dark-electro, power-electro, shoegaze, IDM, harsh-electro, noise, aggrotech etcetera are welcome on our pages. CD, CDr, vinyl, cassette, DVD and any other format are welcome for a review, whether it is an album, an EP or a single, while we do not take care of those releases that are digital only, nor we consider those proposals that come as a download.
If you are interested in a competent and professional review, contact us via email at [email protected](or via message through our page) to request the address for sending your stuff. We normally review what’s new and/or “still fresh” (meaning: released within the last six months), but if you’re not sure your sound suits our contents or not, send us an email with a link for a pre-listening, so that we can tell you if your releases is ok for a review on our pages or not.
