BCM is a selection of composers absolutely worth knowing to understand our history.
BCM is a journey that starts from the eighteenth century with Joseph Bologne Chevalier de Saint-Georges, passes through the late Romanticism of Samuel Coleridge-Taylor and Thomas Wiggins, makes some twentieth-century leaps thanks to William Grant Still, Robert Nathaniel Dett, John Wesley Work III and Julius Eastman, and stops at 2012 by George Walker.

Nel giorno che diverrà notte di "Everything Everywhere All at Once", la festa a forma di festival diffuso organizzata nell’anno del centenario di Triennale Milano ci sarà anche l’ensemble degli Esecutori di Metallo su Carta, che si esibirà prima sul balcone all’ingresso del Palazzo dell’Arte, nel ruolo di muezzin che richiama alla moschea dal minareto, e in seguito, alle h21 in Teatro come sacro officiante orchestrale.

Nel programma serale: compositori a Milano nati prima della fondazione del palazzo della Triennale.

Pizzetti, Bettinelli, Ghedini, Lupi, D'Anzi, Recli e una prima ASSOLUTA dal vivo della musica di scena scritte da Fiorenzo Carpi di "Un Caso Clinico" di Buzzati.

The 19'40'' catalog is continually expanding, although some recordings are currently sold out. Il Picchio, Quadri di un'esposizione, Plantasia, and Twilight Zone will no longer be reprinted.

The print run of some CDs is limited to 200 copies, while others are limited to 300 copies. Each copy is individually hand-numbered.

The covers of 19'40'' require varying amounts of time to take shape. The choice of artwork and its post-production is a collaborative effort between Sebastiano, Enrico, Francesco, and Marcello. Sometimes, an analog approach is preferred, where the original artwork is scanned at the highest possible quality and used without modification. Other times, however, the images are further refined through additional modifications.

This is the illustration created by de Gennaro for the twentieth release of the 19'40'' record collection. Sebastiano's work was then reworked, reworked, and reworked by Francesco Fusaro / Froz until it became the cover of the box set.

Mother Earth's "Plantasia"

Sulla scia del movimento hippie californiano, nel 1976 Mort Garson – arrangiatore e compositore americano di musica leggera – registrò un disco intitolato Mother Earth’s Plantasia. Questo curioso signore decise di produrre un lavoro sonoro specifico per “la crescita delle piante”.
A sollevare però il tutto dalla mera operazione antropocentrica ci pensa il fatto che questa musica contenuta su disco è meravigliosa.
L’esecuzione sarà molto fedele all’originale e prevede quattro sintetizzatori analogici per quattro esecutori in carne ed ossa.
