🎶 Introducing the Operalia 2025 Participants!

⭐️ Valentina Puskàs, soprano, Romania/Hungary
In 2023, Valentina joined the Jette Parker Artist Programme at the Royal Ballet And Opera, debuting as Adina in L’elisir d’amore, with subsequent appearances as Micaëla in Carmen, Nedda in Pagliacci and the Dew Fairy in Hänsel und Gretel, among other roles. She earned her master's degree from the National University of Music in Bucharest. Earlier appearances include her debut as Countess Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro at the Miskolc State Theatre in Hungary and performances with the Bucharest National Opera, Transylvania Philharmonic in Cluj, Oradea State Philharmonic, Deva State Theatre and Petrosani State Theatre.

Transylvanian soprano Valentina Puskás, currently part of the Jette Parker Artists Programme at the Royal Ballet And Opera, London for the 2023/25 seasons, is making waves🌊 in the opera world. With a strong vocal technique, captivating musicality, and outstanding stage presence, she’s already taken on roles like Adina (L’Elisir d’amore), Fifth Maid (Elektra), and Eleanora/First Attendant (Larme de Couteau / The Full Moon in March). Valentina has also jumped in as Nedda (I Pagliacci) and Dew Fairy (Hansel und Gretel), performing under the direction of maestros Sesto Quatrini, Antonio Pappano, and Daniel Oren.
