🎶 The first part of the PRISMA Poliedric Music Festival, hosted by the Residenz Maria Heim in Bolzano, ended with the concert of the Duo Kulikova Rosenboom.
An intimate and enormously beautiful concert together with two very young musicians with truly immense talent.
👏🏻 Congratulations again to Felix Rosenboom and Anastasia Kulikova for winning 2nd prize at the LFN International Chamber Music Competition in the 2023 edition. We wish you many successes of which we are more than sure!
🏰 Now PRISMA will move to the castle of Pergine, but first we will see each other in Merano next Thursday 23 May.

🎹 It was a wonderful week in company of the Duo Ondine, composed of Juliette Aridon and Clémentine Dubost, who performed thanks the 1st Prize at the LFN International Chamber Music Competition 2023!
In this post some shots from the two concerts in South Tyrol by the Duo, in Merano on 3th April at the Accademia di Merano and on 5th April at the Residenz Maria Heim in Bolzano.

🎶 The Ondine Duo, piano four hands, is made up of the two young musicians Juliette Aridon and Clémentine Dubost. Winners of the First Prize of the LFN International Chamber Music Competition in the 2023 edition will perform their prize concert tomorrow. Yesterday the duo performed in Merano in the beautiful hall of the Academy, where the very large audience was sold out.

🎶 The 2023 edition of the 𝑳𝑭𝑵 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝑴𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒄 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 ended last Saturday. For the first time the final round was held live with 5 top-level finalist groups!
Congratulations to the Duo Ondine and the Duo Kulikova Rosenboom, winners of the First and Second prize 🏆
We also congratulate the other finalists and wish everyone a wonderful artistic journey 🙏🏻

📢 Dear competitors, we inform you that due to personal reasons M° Saverio Gabrielli will not be able to be present in the commission of the LFN International Chamber Music Competition. He will be replaced by M° Marcello Defant (violinist).
Marcello Defant made his debut at the age of 15 and has performed in the most important halls in the world (Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall etc). He has frequently collaborated as first violinist with important orchestras such as Orchestra del Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Symphonie Orchester
Zürich and Orchestra Haydn di Bolzano e Trento. He has played in orchestras under the baton of such names as Leonard
Bernstein, Lorin Maazel and Carlo Maria Giulini. He currently teaches violin at the Conservatorio 'E. F. Dall'Abaco' in Verona.

🎻 Tomorrow July 10th the AKELA quartet will perform in Finalpia for the season "I concerti dellabbazia"! It is the first of two prize concerts that the quartet has won, placing first in the Third Edition of the LFN International Chamber Music Competition. Good luck to this wonderful quartet and good listening to the public that will welcome them in Liguria 🥰

Today we introduce you to one of our partners: the Alpen Classica Festival . Born in 2016, it is the first Euro-regional classical music festival. In fact, it involves: Trentino, South Tyrol and Tyrol. The goal is to create an international festival that enhances the territory and all the musicians it hosts.

☀️ For the first time, the final of the LFN International Chamber Music Competition will be live. On September 16th in the wonderful "Sala a cassettoni" of the Maria Heim Residence in Bolzano, among the vineyards of South Tyrol and in the middle of the Alps.
⚠️Important message!
The VolTiMa Duo, winner of the competition, has decided to give up the prize for personal reasons. The Artistic Direction has therefore reassigned the prizes following the ranking of the scores.
The AKELA Quartet therefore wins the first prize and the Fonoduo the second prize.
We congratulate these two ensembles for their achievement, we will let you know soon when you will be able to attend one of their concerts.
However, we would like to congratulate once again the members of VolTiMa Duo and wish them good luck in everything.

🎷Massimiliano Girardi, sax. Active international concert performer, he is a founding member of the Milano Saxophone Quartet, of the Sargas duo (sax and organ/piano) and of the Worksong Duo (sax and accordion). He has performed in the most important European concert halls within prestigious festivals. He is the creator, founder and artistic director of the first Euroregional Festival (Trentino, Alto Adige and Tyrol) of classical music "Alpen Classica Festival" and of the first Euroregional festival dedicated to the saxophone "Alpen Classica Saxfest".

🎻Savero Gabrielli, violinist and already on the jury in the 2022 edition.
As active chamber musician, he takes part in important festivals and concert seasons. Since 2020 in duo with the guitarist Lorenzo Bernardi he has enjoyed considerable success. Of the 2021 their first CD entitled "Two Italians in Vienna" with music by Paganini, Giuliani and the first world recording of the Grande Duo op. 11 by Spohr, in the transcription by Diabelli.

Our competition
The musical association “La Follia Nuova“ from Trentino - South Tyrol (Italy) organizes the first International Chamber Music Competition, promoting the artistic achievement of emerging talents as well as of culturally promoting the host region of the competition.
The aim is to find a group that fits well with the spirit of the association. The purpose of “La Follia Nuova” is to create concerts over many seasons, inviting professional musicians and young talented artists from Italy and abroad to Trentino - South Tyrol.
To make sure the audience feels a deeper connection to the performers, the association believes that it is essential to add some historical background and cultural concepts to every concert and explain the music performed.
The winners will be invited to give a concert in the 2021 season of our association, presenting the program they will submit to the jury. In addition they will get a professional recording session of two full days at the Metro Rec Recording Studio in the beautiful aerea of the Garda Lake. Marco Sirio Pivetti will record the group in his studio, which offers four recording rooms, a grand piano and microphones of highest quality.
The competition is based on a video-selection. This gives anyone the possibility to participate without travel expenses. All musicians from 18 years on are welcomed to present their material.
