A portrait photographer must respond to three key questions asked by their subject: Who am I, really? This seeks to capture the true essence of the person. How do I see myself, what is my personal narrative? This reflects the subject's self-perception and identity. And How do I want others to see me? This is about the message they wish to communicate to the world. A great portrait doesn’t just show a face—it tells a deeper story, revealing both the internal and external layers of the person.
