Our journey begins in 1999 with the aim to collect and tell Italian and international stories, with a fresh insight on everyday life, costumes and society. Over the years, we have covered major national and International events, producing – among others – also war reportages (Afghanistan 2001, Iraq 2003, Israel-Palestine 2004).The passion for photojournalism has kept alive our enthusiasm in making
in-depth coverage of social issues, with a particular attention to immigration, education, labor and new lifestyles. In this second decade, we are focusing on the production of Italian stories, never taking our attention off the radical changes that are transforming the global socio-political landscape, especially the countries of North Africa. Emblema counts about 15 reportages photographers on the italian territory and a photo News Archive of over 100.000 images covering news, personalities, custom and current events.
