One light is literally all you need to achieve beautiful imagery! I lit this with a single source with full CTB going through the home curtains already on location taking advantage of the tungsten street lights outside adding color depth and contrast, just a bit of neg on the opposite side and that’s it!

Two sides of the same story…for this wine commercial we used duality as main storytelling tool.
Terre Cà Bindola grows their grapes on a difficult soil that initially deemed their success as impossible but ultimately ended up giving birth to an unique wine that is now selling internationally.
The man walks through a palace in his achieved prestige but he’s still attached to his roots which manifest through the scenario rapidly changing to his vineyard, he opens the door and through a blast of white light we see the final products of his hard work which in the end he can finally taste himself just to ultimately going back grasping the clayey soil that made all this possible as a thankful gesture.

This is the last scene we shot for the Bodoni “Lipstick” and looking back to it I really gotta give credit to who despite the long day on set and being stuck in a car for literally hours not only she kept it together but she delivered big time on this iconic scene which had her mirroring his boyfriend’s obsession for her look and demeanor.
As far as imagery goes I went for diffused side lighting with mild halation, keeping some contrast on her figure and blowing out the background to give out the scene was actually only happening in the guy’s mind, colors did the rest…hope you guys like it! ✌️💄

My first attempt at the (𝘧𝘪𝘭𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘤𝘢𝘳 𝘴𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘢 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘪𝘰 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥)! For the latest music vid I DP’d and directed for Bodoni we needed a car interior scene which had to be done quick with a moody, dramatic tone to it so I opted to shoot everything inside and we actually managed to deliver it with two different lighting schemes and the performance scene as well before that! Given the time and gear constraints I can actually live with how it came out, we basically just used a projector on a 12x12 scrim and lit the scene to match both the background and the opening exterior shot!

Such a great experience working with one of Italy's alternative music masteminds Pierpaolo_Capovilla, former frontman of Il Teatro degli Orrori and One Dimensional Man Official...he even came up with a different idea for the ending of the music video we were shooting along with Zagreb rock band which we all loved and endend up using for the final cut!

Ferrara Buskers Festival (Event)

Filming the Ferrara Buskers Festival was an absolute honor and privilege especially being just about three years shy on this journey, it's a big deal and having to portray such talented and spectacular street artists under different light and weather conditions was not an easy task but that's what made it a great challenge and I hope the images ended up giving the credit deserved by this amazing !
So thank you , Rebecca Bottoni and to the real life Roberto Lucchi - Hats & Art for making all this possible in the first place! 🙏

I've always been fascinated by lighthouses, they always get me in the "adventure" mood and remind me just how much I love the sea...the "Capo Ferro Lighthouse" (Sardinia, IT) isn't exactly easy to reach but definitely worth the hike, especially at sunset!
