Your family “vault”
The shelter will provide you with your very own secure “vault”, as in a bank. It is equipped with a high security locking system, it will be impregnable. During peacetime you can protect yourselves and your loved ones and safeguard all your personal and
treasured possessions. Main characteristics:
This type of shelter has been specifically designed to be quickly and inexpensive
ly installed in the subsoil or simply placed on a flat surface outside.
• It can be entered from the outside, by stairs, from a ramp or otherwise directly from your main home.
• The outer perimeter walls and the ceiling are constructed of reinforced concrete sandwiched between inner and outer metal panels. (see side elevation)
• There must be a minimum of 50cm of earth covering the shelter.
• The basic version of the shelter will accommodate 4 people comfortably. It is possible to join together more modules. Advantages
• It is very compact. It can be disassembled and packed down to fit the standard international dimensions of 20-foot containers.
• The low packaged weight of the SAFETYPODNBC shelter allows for easy, safe and inexpensive
transportation by both road and by sea and will be easy to handle on all construction sites.

• Quality Italian style internal finishings. Main components:
• Ventilation and filtering system (this system enables you to achieve a highly pressurised environment inside the shelter, so preventing any infiltration whatsoever of any unwelcome gas or dust, etc.)
• Electrical generator
• High pressure valves
• Control switchboard
• Armoured doors
• Electrical fittings complete with telephone connections, satellite TV and external video camera
• Water tank with circulation pump, sink, shower, washbasin and WC
• Full home furnishings
• Exercise bike connected to a manual electric generator
In addition to the standard internal facilities, the following are also provided for possible trips outside the shelter:
• a device to monitor the level of radiation
• protective overalls and gas masks. Works for which the user is responsible:
• digging and laying foundations in reinforced concrete
• passage to main entrance and emergency exit
• setting up of services (water, electrical power, drainage system, telephone and television line) and delivered up to the external walls of the shelter
• preparing the concrete and pouring it into the metal wall
