Exploring the “Beehive” ice cave before it melts away ❄️
Every year these glacier lagoons all around the south east freeze up making it possible for us to walk among the icebergs. Some of them freeze in place perfectly and create these ice caves like the one you see here. This is possibly the coolest one I’ve seen so far 😍
Thanks again for making this possible!

What type of a bird do you think that is? 🐧
It’s the first time I’ve seen it here at the Glacier Lagoon. The seals were there too of course and a couple of seagulls and ravens. It’s definitely a good place to visit if you’re into wildlife.
Thank you 2023 🫶🏻 This was a challenging year but I think I needed to go through this in order to grow and evolve as a person. Thankful for all my friends and adventure buddies that keep exploring with me. I made so many new friends this year and used every opportunity I got to connect with more people and brands. Grew my company to new levels and managed to both evolve the partnerships with my current clients and also got involved with many new ones.
2023 opened my eyes to what really matters in this life and will go into 2024 ready to face all the challenges that life throws my way.
There are already so many exciting things coming up! Will make sure to share more from what’s going on in my life.
Wish you all a Happy New Year! 🎇

Adventuring into the Highlands with a group of friends is something I really enjoy doing. Especially in September or October when there’s not many people around. Makes you feel like you have the whole Highlands to yourself 🏔️
I think it’s safe to say that I’ve circled the island about 15-20 times in the last 5 years (since I started running around with a camera). It’s just something about that freedom of movement that I really like. You can stop where you want, see new places, even if you have a camper or a rooftop tent like I had this summer you can just sleep at the most random places. For me it’s not just about taking pictures, but my content creation path had made me look at nature in a different way and appreciate it more. Before content creation came into my life back in 2018 I had actually never done the full circle. Just it didn’t even cross my mind to go drive those 1.300 kilometres to see stuff. But now, knowing what is out to see I’ll do it over and over again.
So basically, the takeaway from this little caption is… rent a car and go on that road trip you’ve always thought about 🚙
Katla Ice Cave ❄️ This is definitely one of the most beautiful formations I’ve seen, such a unique opening into the constantly changing ice cave behind. It’s melting at such a fast pace, if you visit regularly you will notice a huge difference each time you’re there. Located on the south coast, close to Vík but only accessible by a 4x4. If you want to go into it I rec you book one of the tours available.

A mix of scary and peaceful, young and old. One of them was too cute, I almost took him home with me 🥹
When you come back to Reykjavik after a long trip around the island there is only one thing your body needs… Sky Lagoon! 💦🔥
Thanks for being amazing models for me
You can almost see the whole south coast from up there 🌊
This mountain is called Reynisfjall, located near the town Vík. Below is are the famous basalt cliffs Reynisdrangar 🗿 some say these are trolls!
Landmannalaugar Hot Spring 💦 also known as “the People’s Pool”.
It’s the perfect spot to visit after a long day at the mountains. The pool is 30-42° Celsius so you need to move around to find the perfect spot.

Exploring newly formed ice caves ❄️
We traveled all the way to the Glacier Lagoon and there we met up with our guide who took us to the glaciers edge. Put on crampons, helmets and more and headed onto the glacier in search for the small opening into the blue wonder. Such an epic experience!

The Arctic Fox spotted in Thorsmork 🏔️ This little pup was most likely abandoned by his mother too early so he wasn’t able to hunt for food by himself yet. Luckily there are loads of tourists that visit his neighbourhood and feed him with all kinds of treats. The locals noticed him going from starving pup to an almost fully grown healthy looking fox in just a couple of weeks. Let’s hope he makes it through this winter ❄️
It’s always spring time in Iceland 💦
This one is located in the Highlands at the famous Landmannalaugar 🏔️

Traditional Icelandic bathing culture meets slick modern hospitality at the Sky Lagoon. People gather in pools to exercise, chat, gossip, debate, relax and reconnect with themselves and one another.
The Green Pyramid ⛰️ also known as Mælifell, was once hidden under Mýrdalsjökull Glacier but became exposed when the glacier retreated at the end of the last Ice Age.
Swimming here has become a tradition for me and my friends whenever we’re travelling around the southeast coast. It’s actually an ancient Viking ritual to swim in ice cold waters, it’s supposed to improve your health, mood and increase energy levels.
This swim is definitely not for everyone… since the temperature of the water is around 3°C.

Glacier parkour 🥶 One of the guys on our tour is a parkour legend and told us to snap a photo of him doing a front flip over one of the crevasses. We all thought he was joking until this happened!

Midnight sunset in Iceland 😍 Last night I experienced one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen in my life... and it lasted for over an hour! At this time of the year we experience the summer solstice where the sun never sets 🌅 We have the northern lights in winter and the midnight sun in summer, how lucky are we?
Unbelievable view but won’t last forever 🗻 - It’s hard to imagine that such vast bodies of ice could melt away entirely, becoming seabound meltwater rivers, revealing the gnarled and naked rock beneath. But that’s exactly what the scientific community tells us is already happening. Let’s try our best to make a change ♻️❤️🌎 - #iceland #glaciers #globalwarming #nature #66north
