Hero Productions wants to congratulate Flóra Karítas Buenaño and Hafdís Pálsdóttir for 2024 Emmy nomination for their Outstanding Contemporary makeup work on "True Detective" tv series that was filmed in Iceland.

To have all those nominations toward our amazing Icelandic crew is heartwarming.

We want to congratulate one of our amazing Icelandic sound guy Skuli Helgi Sigurgislason, who is now one of the nominee for the 2024 Emmy awards for his amazing audio mastery on the TV Series "True detective" that was recently filmed in Iceland for HBO. Also deserved credit is the epic Icelandic production company Truenorth that serviced that production with ease as always.

Part of the journey of this production is of course, the Icelandic Film Commission.
And every single Icelandic crew member that took part in this massive production.
