Frostbiter: Icelandic Horror Film Festival Horror Film Festival in Iceland. Frostbiter: Icelandic Horror Film Festival is an international horror film showcase.

We are searching for interesting new talents in the horror film genre. Iceland has a history that spans over a thousand years and a history of storytelling just as long. Through Viking Sagas and folktales we encounter many supernatural creatures; ghosts, elves, trolls and even the Devil himself. The cold, harsh scenery of this island is a great source of inspiration for magical beings. During the

summertime the sun does not set and we are blessed with brightness 24 hours a day. However, during wintertime the darkness surrounds us all day and everybody knows that in the darkness, evil awaits…. We decided to have the festival international so we could be inspired by filmmakers from around the world and also in hopes that international filmmakers will visit Iceland and be inspired too.
