Top leaders from MNF and BJP joined in Chakma District Congress as Pu Zothansanga visits Kamalanagar

Kamalanagar, 20th March, 2022: Pu TT Zothansanga, Ex MLA and General Secretary, MPCC visited Kamalanagar with his team from MPCC in the Induction Programme on 22nd March, 2022 on Tuesday at Congress Bhawan, Kamalanagar.

Top level leaders from both the ruling MNF party aswell as the BJP joined into the Congress party. Dangu Gyana Sankar Chakma, former MDC, BPS-II joined Congress from ruling MNF Government. Dangu Tarani Chakma, former MDC, resigned from ruling MNF Government and joined INC. Dangu Amit Bayan Chakma, resigned from Secretary, CDMNF and joined Congress with 226 voters of Mandirosora Constituency. Dg. Santosh Tongchangya from Maniabapsora Constituency, senior and active member of CDBJP joined INC. Dangubi Niati Chakma, active MNF party worker from Mainbapsora joined INC. Dangubi Madhuri Chakma, from Kamalanagar-5 joined INC from MNF.

"Congress can be a greater force in the next MDC election to defeat the ruling MNF", commented an independent analyst in social media platform.
