Bollywood, the Hindi language film industry, is the largest sector and represents 43% of box office revenue. The South Indian film industry encompasses five film cultures: Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Tulu. Combined, Tamil and Telugu film industries revenues represent 36%.
