5 KIDS WEEKEND ACTIVITIES 🧒🏻💅🏻👟

1. Nail Painting activity for kids- hand shaped cardboard cutouts. This is actually superb for kids motor skills. Plus the girls love doing this for fun. And you don’t haveto deal with messy nails.

2. Pipe Cleaner Colander- This activity is very beneficial for toddlers. If they can put pipe cleaners through the holes of a colander and put them out it’s very good for their hand eye coordination.

3. Pom Pom Lint Roller Activity- Get your toddler to stick and remove pom poms from a lint roller.

4. Earbud Poking Activity- Colour matching with earbuds on a cardboard box. Very good for concentration and motor skills.

5. Shoe Lace Practice Board- Draw a sneaker on a cardboard board and run a ribbon through it. Get your kid to practice how to tie their shoe laces this way.

Who knew that the worlds best Sea World will turn up in Abu Dhabi! They claim all the marine life in this incredible indoor park are rescued. The kids got quite an education and had THE BEST time !

Parents, choose your battles. Stop picking on the tiniest things. Accept their faults at times. Love them for who they are. Ofcourse that doesn’t mean we don’t correct them. But sometimes the more we criticise the less they take us seriously and those days when we really need to correct them badly it’ll backfire. What’s your opinion on this? Leave a comment.

ENCHANTED GARDEN PARTY IDEA ⛲️🏡

Came across this absolutely gorgeous birthday party and we just HAD to share. An “Enchanted Garden” Party complete with a gardening station where each girl could create her own fairy garden. (Swipe to see all images)

This theme would be amazing for an indoor party considering either the immense heat or crazy monsoons in our city.

Can’t get over all the green and purple hues, moss “fairy” houses, topiaries, lots of potted flowers and the beautiful lavender cake to match the theme. Not to mention the charming floral touches and butterflies to tie it into the garden theme.

It’s easy to raise children competing with others, trying to pull each other down, bullying weaker kids and talking rudely to the help. What’s hard is raising a child who will say NO to the wrong things even though they seem easy, a child who is empathetic and sensitive to others. What do you think?

We’ve been reading E.B. White's classic novel about one small mouse on a very big adventure! Ofcourse you’ve all heard of the movie but did you know the author of the more famous "Charlotte's Web" is also the author of this childrens book?

Stuart’s adventures are from the notion of experiencing the world from the perspective of a very small being, and his not so easy life in a normal sized human house. The book is a series of Stuart's adventures, such as the time he got stuck in the window shade, or when he won a sailboat race in Central Park, or when he befriended an injured bird, or when he volunteered to be a substitute teacher.

Although not particularly for our modern kids it’s one of those classics that circles around whimsical tales and has an old fashioned feel to it. Only for kids 8 years and above I would say.

HOMEMADE STAIN REMOVER 👚🧺🧽As a mom you’ll know that stains are now part of our lives. We’ve been testing this stain removal remedy that I first saw on @creative_explained and I was surprised at how little effort was required to get the stain out. I’m quite convinced that baking soda has some magical abilities , and combined with vinegar and lime it becomes quite the tough solution to remove stains.
